摘      要：Arriving in America, even if only on a short visit. one would be at once deeply impressed by the graceful and beautiful environment, and this specially true for those who have lived for a long time in the Sichuan Basin. Alier a century of rapid development under the system of capitalism, a process which began slowly three hundred years ago has let to great changes in this continent. Even so, however, in many areas, grass still covers the ground like a carPet, flowers blossom all year round, and green trees surround many dwellings. The air is in many places still tYesh and clear, and trees and flowers, as well as the birds and animals are usually well protected by the people. There, life can still be graceful, even idyllic, as well as absolutely modern, and provides an ideal and a dream for people throughout the world.
