摘      要：The binding of women＇s feet, a turies-long practice that ended early last century, began during the reign of Emperor Li Yu （937-978）. Chen Xiaoxuan, now 28, is a graduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts （located in Beijing）. As he prepared to make a video documentary, as his thesis, Chen spent the past two years taking photos of, and filming interviews with, some of the last remaining Chinese women whose feet were bound. Most of those women lived in remote areas of eastern China＇s Shandong Province.
