摘      要：Assistant Minister Zhang emphasized in his address: China’s assets appraisal profession has been developing for nearly two decades since its birth. The profession has played an essential role in many fields such as establishments of sino-foreign joint ventures, mechanism reform of SOEs, initial public offerings, capital re-combinations, mort- gage loan, bad assets disposal etc., which are highly recognized by the government and the public. This July, the 3rd National Assembly of Delegates of China Appraisal Society was held in Beijing. The member of Standing Commit- tee of CPC Central Political Bureau and Vice Premier Huang Ju affirmed progresses made by the profession. Assis- tant Minister Zhang continued that the Ministry of Finance has attached great importance to the jewelry appraisal in the past years and will keep improving its administration to allow jewelry appraisers to play a full role in relevant economic activities and markets.
