摘要：A b.ief review on suspended-core fib.rs for sensing applications is presented. A historical overview over the previous ten years ab.ut this special designed microstructure optical fib.r is describ.d. This fib.r presents attractive optical properties for chemical/b.ological or gas measurement, b.t it can b. further explored for alternative sensing solutions, namely, in-fib.r interferometers b.sed on the suspended-core or suspended-multi-core fib.r, for physical parameter monitoring.
