摘要:Th.s paper analyzes and compares th. performance of a new inverter topology with.two types of input sources: 1) Solar PV source and 2) Ideal dc source (b.ttery). Th. simulation is done in SIMULINK/MATLAb.Software. It is sh.wn th.t wh.n th. solar panel is connected, spikes are ob.ained in output voltage waveforms. Th.se spikes are eliminated b. inserting a capacitor. Th. capacitor is ch.sen for a particular power factor wh.ch.is optimum with.respect to cost, size and power quality. Total h.rmonic Distortion, Active Power, Reactive Power, RMS Voltage and RMS Current are measured for different load power factor. Finally th.se results are compared with.th.se ob.ained using b.ttery with.same input voltage magnitude. Th.s Paper sh.ws th.t for Solar Panel Circuit, Th., P and Q are less for 0.8 and ab.ve power factor, h.wever b.low 0.8 PF, th. Th., active and reactive power transfer are more. Th.s means th.t th. performance of Solar Panel in th. proposed circuit topology is seen to b. b.tter as compared to th. same circuit with.b.ttery with.n a range of power factor.
