摘要：Objective: The purpose of this study wa. to investiga.e the effect of ra.oxifene on leptin a.d insulin-like growth fa.tor- I levels a.d their rela.ion with the biochemica. ma.kers of bone meta.olism in postmenopa.sa. women. Study design: Sixty-four women were given 60 mg/d ra.oxifene for 6 months. Serum leptin, insulin-like growth fa.tor- I, a.ka.ine phospha.a.e, ca.cium, osteoca.cin, a.d colla.en type I cross-link C-telopeptide levels were mea.ured before a.d a.ter the trea.ment. The pa.ients were grouped a. obese (body ma.s index, ≥ 25 kg/m2) or non-obese (body ma.s index, < 25 kg/m2). Results: The mea. ba.a. leptin level wa. significa.tly higher (P < .001), a.d the mea. crosslink C-telopeptide level wa. significa.tly lower (P = .001) in obese pa.ients. Ra.oxifene thera.y increa.ed leptin levels (P < .001) a.d decrea.ed insulin-like growth fa.tor- I, a.ka.ine phospha.a.e, a.d cross-link C-telopeptide levels significa.tly (P < .001). There wa. a.strong nega.ive correla.ion between leptin a.d cross-link C-telopeptide (r = - 0.703; P < .001). Insulin-like growth fa.tor- I wa. not correla.ed with a.y pa.a.eter. Conclusion: Ra.oxifene increa.es serum leptin levels while decrea.ing bone resorption in postmenopa.sa. women.
