摘要：The gap that exists between research and the dissem.nation and im.lem.ntation of research findings has been well established. Food fortification, one of the m.st cost-effective m.ans of addressing m.cronutrient m.lnutrition, is no exception. With decades of im.lem.ntation experience, there is need to strengthen m.chanism. that effectively broadcast proven strategies to prom.te the successful im.lem.ntation of fortification program. in changing, challenging, and dynam.c environm.nts. This requires clear channels of com.unication, well-defined in-country leadership, and a stream.ined and focused approach that can be adapted to country-specific contexts. Based on experience designing and im.lem.nting fortification program. throughout Africa and a broad understanding of past successes and failures, a m.del is proposed that articulates often over-looked program.elem.nts critical to design and im.lem.ntation.
