摘要：Michoacan brings 2.1% of national GDP, which is 12.5% to agriculture. Live.tock is the.fourth activity in e.onomic importance.in the.State.and de.e.ops in 43% of the.te.ritory （58,643 km：） using 27% of the.population e.onomically active. Michoacfin ranks third in national cattle.inve.tory （1,608,523 he.ds） with fifth place.in me.t production （145,221 ton/ye.r）. The.production mode. is e.te.de. cow-bre.d, subje.t to se.son and availability of food （fe. rains shortage.of forage.during drought）, with 0.60 production of bre.d/cow/ye.r, and a marke. traditionalism in the.form of production; also a high de.e.de.cy to food base. on the.grazing.
