摘要：With a growing population, an increasing number of petrochemical facilities are built with larger capacity and more complexity, which pose a great risk to assets, community and environment. The value of inherently safer design is recognized with time by all stakeholders, and an effective tool is needed to evaluate and compare inherent safety of alternative technologies. This study developed a safety index to evaluate existing technologies for their safety levels and guide inherently safer design. The Integrated Risk-based Safety Index(IRSI) was developed based on a comprehensive review of petrochemical processes, incident cases from Sinopec and US Chemical Safety Board, and existing safety index systems. The IRSI included all major hazards, including fire, explosion,toxic release, dust explosion, physical explosion, and runaway. Also, the integrated life cycle approach considered chemical hazards, equipment failure rates and safety measures in this risk-based index. Advanced modeling techniques, PHAST simulation and Neural Network, were used in the development of three novel sub-indices in the projects, fire, explosion and toxic release. The index system could be easily incorporated into a user friendly tool for the ease of application. A case study of hydrogen dioxide was conducted using the IRSI, which showed its capability for evaluating the safety level of process facilities.

摘要：We present a new sense amplifier circuit for EEPROM memory. The topology of the sense amplifier uses a voltage sensing method,having low cost and low power consumption as well as high reliability. The sense amplifier was implemented in an EEPROM realized with an SMIC 0.35-μm 2P3M CMOS embedded EEPROM process. Under the condition that the power supply is 3.3 V,simulation results showed that the charge time is 35 ns in the proposed sense amplifier,and that the maximum average current consumption during the read period is 40 μA. The novel topology allows the circuit to function with power supplies as low as 1.4 V. The sense amplifier has been implemented in 2-kb EEPROM memory for RFID tag IC applications,and has a silicon area of only 240 μm2.

摘要：The rational design and precise synthesis of multifunctional hybrid nanostructures with a tailored active core and a large, dendritic, modified mesoporous structured shell can promote catalysis, energy storage, and biological applications. Here, an oil-water biphase stratification coating strategy has been developed to prepare monodisperse magnetic dendritic mesoporous silica core-shell structured nano- spheres. These sophisticated Fe3O4@SiO2@dendritic-mSiO2 nanospheres feature large dendritic open pores （2.7 and 10.3 nm）. Significantly, the silica shells can be converted into dendritic mesoporous aluminosilicate frameworks with unchanged porosity, a Si/Al molar ratio of 14, and remarkably strong acidic sites, through a post-synthesis approach. In addition, the resultant magnetic dendritic mesoporous aluminosilicate nanospheres exhibit outstanding properties and promising application in phosphate removal from wastewater.

摘要：By contrasting the traditional way in which GIS was completed that comes with less flexible, low efficiency, and lack redundancy which cause high entry cost, the fast development of microkernel plug-in technology provides the lightweight, efficient and scalable solution to Geographical Information System (GIS). This paper is to reveal the potential of microkernel plug-in geospatial information processing technology in GIS design and practice, with the acceptance and usage of function model called Resource loading manager(RLM) for GIS applications, which provides a possible solution to overcome the GIS’s high cost issue. After the short review of microkernel plug-in technology, the possibility of GIS design with microkernel is analyzed. This paper also introduced the composition of the whole system and the design of GIS service platform based on middle-ware in detail.

摘要：Geographical Information System (GIS) always plays an integral role in LBS systems. But it comes with technology problems, such as less flexible, low efficiency, no redundancy of existing geographic information of application configuration which has high entry cost. At same time, indoors positioning is attracting more and more attention from research domain where GPS-like systems do not work. By RSSI location fingerprint data that sampling from the actual WSN environment, this article analyzed RF signal propagation characteristics in indoor from the point of view of the indoor positioning, and analyzed some factors that may affect the positioning error, which provided a theoretical basis for the positioning algorithm design and positioning system deployment. The aim of this paper is also to present a lightweight, efficient and scalable microkernel plug-in geospatial information application system and its implementation method for GIS in LBS design and practice. In this paper a software model called Resource loading manager (RLM) is designed. Through the RLM efficient allocation of geographic information resources and security management could be achieved.

摘要：The Competition for Authenticated Encryption: Security, Applicability, and Robustness(CAESAR)supported by the National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST) is an ongoing project calling for submissions of authenticated encryption(AE) schemes. The competition itself aims at enhancing both the design of AE schemes and related analysis. The design goal is to pursue new AE schemes that are more secure than advanced encryption standard with Galois/counter mode(AES-GCM) and can simultaneously achieve three design aspects: security,applicability, and robustness. The competition has a total of three rounds and the last round is approaching the end in 2018. In this survey paper, we first introduce the requirements of the proposed design and the progress of candidate screening in the CAESAR competition. Second, the candidate AE schemes in the final round are classified according to their design structures and encryption modes. Third, comprehensive performance and security evaluations are conducted on these candidates. Finally, the research trends of design and analysis of AE for the future are discussed.

摘要：Network function virtualization （NFV） is a newly proposed technique designed to construct and manage network fimctions dynamically and efficiently. Allocating physical resources to the virtual network function forwarding graph is a critical issue in NFV. We formulate the forwarding graph embedding （FGE） problem as a binary integer programming problem, which aims to increase the revenue and decrease the cost to a service provider （SP） while considering limited network resources and the requirements of virtual functions. We then design a novel regional resource clustering metric to quantify the embedding potential of each substrate node and propose a topology-aware FGE algorithm called ＇regional resource clustering FGE＇ （RRC-FGE）. After implementing our algorithms in C＋＋, simulation results showed that the total revenue was increased by more than 50 units and the acceptance ratio by more than 15%, and the cost of the service provider was decreased by more than 60 units.
