摘要：Lac.ic.ac.dosis is a rare c.mplic.tion of malignanc.es and is seen more frequently in high grade lymphoma and leukemia. Although, its pathogenesis is not well understood, it remains a surrogate of poor prognosis. Herein, we present a c.se of Burkitt-like lymphoma presenting with metabolic.abnormalities inc.uding lac.ic.ac.dosis and hypoglyc.mia along with atrial tac.yc.rdia. We will disc.ss the different mec.anisms involved in these metabolic.disturbanc.s and we will provide insight on novel therapeutic.strategies based on our understanding of the underlying pathophysiology.
