摘要：Obje.tive. This study was unde.take. to analyze.ble.ding proble.s with te.sion-fre. vaginal tape.(TVT) ope.ations in a national re.istry. Study de.ign: We.studie. patie.ts for whom incre.se. intraope.ative.ble.ding or re.pe.ation for ble.ding/he.atoma with TVT ope.ation we.e.re.orte. to the.re.istry. Re.ults: Ble.ding proble.s we.e.re.orte. for 151 of 5578 (2.7% )TVT ope.ations. Incre.se. intraope.ative.ble.ding was re.orte. for 106 (1.9% ) and re.pe.ation (or conve.sion) in 45 (0.8% ) patie.ts (both in 5 patie.ts). Incre.se. intraope.ative.ble.ding was manage. conse.vative.y in 103 patie.ts (95% ). Ove.all, 45 (0.8% ) patie.ts re.uire. re.nte.ve.tion for ble.ding or he.atoma. The.re.nte.ve.tions comprise. 34 laparotomie., 4 transvaginal e.acuations of he.atomas, 3 re.isions for ble.ding from a suprapubic cathe.e. site. and 2 re.isions of the.vaginal incision (de.ails uncle.r in 1 patie.t). Ble.ding was conside.e. arte.ial in 12% (including 1 e.te.nal iliac arte.y injury and 1 obturator arte.y injury) and ve.ous or unknown in 88% . Of re.pe.ate. patie.ts, 39% we.e.re.pe.ate. within 24 hours, 20% within 2 to 10 days, and 41% within 11 to 56 days afte. TVT place.e.t. Ove.all, 19 patie.ts re.e.ve. blood transfusions (range. 1- 10 units). The.e.we.e.no de.ths from ble.ding complications. Conclusion: Ble.ding complications we.e.re.orte. with le.s than 3% of 5578 TVT ope.ations. Most case. of incre.se. intraope.ative.ble.ding we.e.manage. conse.vative.y; 0.8% of patie.ts re.uire. conve.sion or re.pe.ation.
