摘要：For vehicle adaptive cruise control （ACC） systems, the switching performance between throttle and brake determines the driving comfort, fuel consumption and service lives of vehicle mechanical components. In this paper, an ACC algorithm with the optimal switching control between throttle and brake is designed in model predictive control （MPC） framework. By introducing the binary integer variables, the dynamics of throttle and brake are integrated in one model expression for the controller design. Then the ACC algorithm is designed to satisfy not only safe car following, but also the optimal switching between throttle and brake, which leads to an online mixed integer quadratic programming solved by the nested two-loop method. The simulation results show that the proposed ACC algorithm meets the requirements of safe car following, outperforms the traditional algorithms by performing smoother responses, reducing the switching times between throttle and brake, and therefore improves driving comfort and fuel efficiency significantly.

摘要：Transitional metal phosphides with array-like structure grown on conductive support materials are promising bifunctional catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).In this study,a method was developed to synthesize directly porous Ni2P nanosheet arrays and Ni2P nanoparticles onto nickel foam via a hydrothermal reaction followed by a phosphorization *** studies revealed that the allomorphs of Ni2P nanosheets and Ni2P nanoparticles in the array-like structure were formed via the Kirkendall effect and Ostwald ripening.A fully functional water electrolyzer containing Ni2P as electrodes for the OER and HER exhibited promising activity and *** 10 mA·cm^−2,a Ni2P cell voltage of 1.63 V was obtained,which was only 0.05 V smaller than that found for Pt/C/NF||RuO2/NF *** enhanced electrocatalytic performance resulted from the favorable porosity of the Ni2P arrays and the synergistic effect between Ni2P nanosheets and Ni2P nanoparticles.

摘要：The asymptotic curve is widely used in astronomy, mechanics and numerical optimization. Moreover, it shows great application potentials in architecture. We focus on the problem how to cover bounded asymptotic curves by a freeform surface. The paper presents the necessary and sufficient conditions for quadrilateral with non-inflection being asymptotic boundary curves of a surface. And then, with given corner data, we model quintic Bezier asymptotic quadrilateral interpolated by a smooth Bezier surface of bi-eleven degree. We handle the available degrees of freedom during the construction to get an optimized result. Some representative surfaces bounded by asymptotic curves with lines or inflections are also discussed by examples. The presented interpolation scheme for the construction of tensor-product Bezier surfaces is compatible with the CAD systems.

摘要：Phloretin is an important skin-lightening and depigmenting agent from the peel of apples. Although de novo production of phloretin has been realized in microbes using the natural pathway from plants, the efficiency of phloretin production is still not enough for industrial application. Here, we established an artificial pathway in the yeast to produce phloretin via assembling two genes of p-coumaroyl-CoA ligase(4CL) and chalcone synthase(CHS). CHS is a key enzyme which conventionally condenses a CoA-tethered starter with three molecules of malonyl-CoA to form the backbone of flavonoids. However, there was 33% of byproduct generated via CHS by condensing two molecules of malonyl-CoA during the fermentation process. Hence, we introduced a more efficient CHS and improved the supply of malonyl-CoA through two pathways;the by-product ratio was decreased from 33% to 17% and the production of phloretin was improved from 48 to 83.2 mg L^(-1). Finally, a fed-batch fermentation process was optimized and the production of phloretin reached 619.5 mg L^(-1), which was 14-fold higher than that of the previous studies. Our work established a platform for the biosynthesis of phloretin from the low-cost raw material 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid and also illustrated the potential for industrial scale bio-manufacturing of phloretin.

摘要：A series of novel pleuromutilin derivatives with 4H-pyran-4-one and pyridin-4-one substitution in the C-14 side chain have been designed and synthesized. In vitro antibacterial activity evaluation showed that most of the derivatives exhibited potent antibacterial activity against drug resistant Gram-positive strains. Compounds 12 a, 12 d, and 28 are the most active derivatives in this series, displaying activity comparable to that of retapamulin and BC-3781. As the metabolic stability of this series is not satisfactory, further modifications are going on to improve their pharmacokinetic profile.

摘要：To the Editor:Wake-up stroke(WUS)is the name given to an ischemic stroke that occurs primarily during night-time sleep and accounts for approximately 20%of all cases of acute ischemic stroke(AIS).Epidemiological studies have demonstrated a circadian distribution of AIS,with a higher frequency in the morning and a lower frequency during sleep.[1]It remains unclear whether WUS is a stochastic event or if a distinct pathophysiologic process,such as circadian rhythm disorder,differentiates WUS from daytime stroke(non-WUS).
