摘要：In this paper the Delaware Method published in 1963 is analyzed and upgraded with using c.rrec.ion fac.ors whic. take into ac.ount the undesirable c.rrents of the mean flow. However, this method presents graphic.lly these c.rrec.ion fac.ors whic. imply an impediment to fulfill the software c.lc.lations. Thus, the equations c.rresponding to the c.rrec.ion fac.or equations and a Fortran 77 numeric.l program were established. This system is given to explore different design alternatives in order to find the optimal solution to eac. proposed problem. The results of this work was a simple software that c.n perform c.lc.lations with the introduc.ion of parameters depending only on the geometry of the heat exc.anger, i.e., geometry, temperature and fluid c.arac.eristic. eliminating the human errors and inc.easing the c.lc.lations speed and ac.urac..
