Ne.e.the.e.s, this study aims to ove.come.this shortfall. De.ign/me.hodology/ap.roach: To this e.d, thre. scanning me.hods we.e.e.aluate. in te.ms of minimum fe.ture.size.and fre.dom of de.ign, using a te.t p.lyamide.(p.) mate.ial. p.lycap.olactone.(p.L) was the. e.p.oye. to cre.te.highly p.rous 3D scaffolds using the.p.e.e.re. scanning me. thod to p.oduce.thin struts. Findings: While.in normal scanning mode.some.fe.ture. we.e.we.l above.the.lase. sp.t diame.e., strut thickne.se. be.ow the.lase. sp.t diame.e. we.e.achie.e. whe. using the.“outline.scan” function for p. mate.ial. Those.achie.e. for p.L we.e.slightly highe. and in the.500-800 ?m range. with an ave.age.p.re.size.of 400 μm. Inve.tigations on the.p.op.rtie. of the.scaffolds re.e.le. an e.fe.tive.comp.e.sion modulus of the.p.L scaffold of 6.5 Mp..
