摘要：Beamforming using sensor array is widely used in spatial signal processing since it offers better spatial focusing capability than single sensor. However, in practical appli- cations for broadband signal, there always exists a trade-off issue between the directivity capability of an array and its robustness on system errors. In this paper, in order to combine merits of different beamformers instead of trade-off their per- formances, we propose a constrained minimum-power com- bination method. We firstly analyze two optimal beamform- ers that maximize Directivity Factor （DF） and White Noise Gain （WNG） respectively. Then we propose a non-linear combination method, which automatically selects the best beamformer that has the minimum output power, so as to control the unwanted white noise amplification and keep the maximum DF if possible. Two solutions to the proposed com- bination strategy are given. They do not need to determine the correct trade-off factor used in linear combination method, and avoid challenge ~stimations on noise and target statistics required in adaptive beamforming. The performance of the proposed beamformer is evaluated in ideal noise fields and complicated noise fields respectively. It is shown that the proposed beamformer integrates merits of different beamform- ers. It always achieves the best speech quality and biggest noise reduction compared to other popular beamformers.

摘要：In the process of multidisciplinary design optimization, there exits the calculation complexity problem due to frequently calling high fidelity system analysis models. The high fidelity system analysis models can be surrogated by approximate models. The sensitivity analysis and numerical noise filtering can be done easily by coupling approximate models to optimization. Approximate models can reduce the number of executions of the problem's simulation code during optimization, so the solution efficiency of the multidisciplinary design optimization problem can be improved. Most optimization methods are based on gradient. The gradients of the objective and constrain functions are gained easily. The gra- dient-based Kriging (GBK) approximate model can be constructed by using system response value and its gradients. The gradients can greatly improve prediction precision of system response. The hybrid optimization method is constructed by coupling GBK approximate models to gradient-based optimiza- tion methods. An aircraft aerodynamics shape optimization design example indicates that the methods of this paper can achieve good feasibility and validity.

摘要：Conformal domes that are shaped to meet aerodynamic requirements can increase range and speed for the host platform. Because these domes typically deviate greatly from spherical surface descriptions, a variety of aberrations are induced which vary with the field-of-regard （FOR） angle. A system for correcting optical aberrations created by a conformal dome has an outer surface and an inner surface. Optimizing the inner surface is regard as static aberration correction. A deformable mirror is placed at the position of the secondary mirror in the two-mirror all reflective imaging system, which is the dynamic aberration correction. An ellipsoidal MgF2 conformal dome with a fineness ratio of 1.0 is designed as an example. The FOR angle is 0°-30°, and the design wavelength is 4μm. After the optimization at 7 zoom positions by using the design tools Code V, the root-mean-square （RMS） spot size is reduced to approximately 0.99 to 1.48 times the diffraction limit. The design results show that the performances of the conformal optical systems can be greatly improved by the combination of the static correction and the dynamic correction.

摘要：Hot roll bonding was carried out between commercially pure titanium TA2 and high-strength low-alloy steel Q390 using pure Nb or Mo interlayer at 950 ~C with a total reduction ratio of 86.7%. Interfacial microstructure and bonding properties of titanium clad steel plates were investigated by electron microscopy and mechanical tests. The results showed β-Ti, TiC and Fe2Ti reaction phases were generated at Ti/steel interface for the clad plates with no interlayer. Inserting Nb or Mo interlayer can effectively suppress the formation of brittle phases, while the weak bonding joint transferred to Nb/steel or Mo/steel interface. And some micro-voids were found at the interface of Nb/steel and Mo/steel. The improved shear strength of clad plates with Nb interlayer might be attributed to the elimination of brittle phases at bonding interface. The small size and little quantities of the micro-voids at Nb/steel interface had a relatively weak effect on shear strength. However, the large number and big size of micro-voids were responsible for the degradation of shear strength for the clad plates with Mo interlayer.

摘要：Biomaterial scaffolds play an important role in maintaining the viability and biological functions of highly metabolic hepatocytes in liver tissue engineering. One of the major challenges involves building a complex microchannel network inside three-dimensional （3D） scaffolds for efficient mass transportation. Here we presented a biomimetic strategy to generate a mi- crochannel network within porous biomaterial scaffolds by mimicking the vascular tree of rat liver. The typical parameters of the blood vessels were incorporated into the biomimetic design of the microchannel network such as branching angle and diameter. Silk fibroin-gelatin scaffolds with biomimetic vascular tree were fabricated by combining micromolding, freeze drying and 3D rolling techniques. The relationship between the micro-channeled design and flow pattern was revealed by a flow experiment, which indicated that the scaffolds with biomimetic vascular tree exhibited unique capability in improving mass transportation inside the 3D scaffold. The 3D scaffolds, preseeded with primary hepatocytes, were dynamically cultured in a bioreactor system. The results confirmed that the pre-designed biomimetic microchannel network facilitated the generation and expansion of hepatocytes.

摘要：We have studied the optical matching layers （OMLs） and external quantum efficiency in the evanescent coupling photodiodes （ECPDs） integrating a diluted waveguide as a fibre-to-waveguide coupler, by using the semi-vectorial beam propagation method （BPM）. The physical basis of OML has been identified, thereby a general designing rule of OML is developed in such a kind of photodiode. In addition, the external quantum efficiency and the polarization sensitivity versus the absorption and coupling length are analysed. With an optical matching layer, the absorption medium with a length of 30μm could absorb 90% of the incident light at 1.55μm wavelength, thus the total absorption increases more than 7 times over that of the photodiode without any optical matching layer.

摘要：Menisci are fundamental fibrocartilaginous organs in knee joints. The injury in meniscus can impair normal knee function and predisposes patients to osteoarthritis. This study prepared decellularized meniscus scaffolds using a 1% （w/w） sodium dodecyl sulfate solution and sufficient rinsing steps. Complete cell removal was verified by hematoxylin and eosin staining and DNA content assay. Decellularized menisci had accordant tension properties to intact ones, but with declined compression properties. This occurred because the collagen fiber was not damaged but glycosami- noglycans was significantly lost during the decellularization process, which was confirmed by biochemical assay and histology staining. In vitro cytotoxicity assay demonstrated that decellularized meniscus scaffolds have no toxicity on L929 murine fibroblasts and porcine chondrocytes. Further experiment showed that porcine chondrocytes could adhere and proliferate on the scaffold surface, and some cells even could infiltrate into the scaffold. All results showed the potential of this decellularized meniscus to be the scaffolds in tissue engineering.
