摘要：Hybrid modeling approaches have recently been investigated as an attractive alternative to model fermentation processes. Normally, these approaches require estimation data to train the empirical model part of a hybrid model. This may result in decreasing the generalization ability of the derived hybrid model. Therefore, a simultaneous hybrid modeling approach is presented in this paper. It transforms the training of the empirical model part into a dynamic system parameter identification problem, and thus allows training the empirical model part with only measured data. An adaptive escaping particle swarm optimization(AEPSO) algorithm with escaping and adaptive inertia weight adjustment strategies is constructed to solve the resulting parameter identification problem, and thereby accomplish the training of the empirical model part. The uniform design method is used to determine the empirical model structure. The proposed simultaneous hybrid modeling approach has been used in a lab-scale nosiheptide batch fermentation process. The results show that it is effective and leads to a more consistent model with better generalization ability when compared to existing ones. The performance of AEPSO is also demonstrated.

摘要：This paper presents an efficient method for globally optimizing and automating component sizing for rotary traveling wave oscillator arrays. The lumped equivalent model of transmission lines loaded by inverter pairs is evaluated and posynomial functions for oscillation frequency, power dissipation, phase noise, etc. are formulated using transmission line theory. The re- sulting design problem can be posed as a geometric programJning problem, which can be efficiently solved with a convex opti- mization solver. The proposed method can compute the global optima more efficiently than the traditional iterative scheme and various design problems can be solved with the same circuit model. The globally optimal trade-off curves between competing objectives are also computed to carry out robust designs and quickly explore the design space.

摘要：Based on the magnetic interaction energy, using derivative of the magnetic energy density, a model is proposed to compute the magnetic-induced shear modulus of magnetorheological elastomers. Taking into account the influences of particles in the same chain and the particles in all adjacent chains, the traditional magnetic dipole model of the magnetorheological elastomers is modified. The influence of the ratio of the distance etween adjacent chains to the distance between adjacent particles in a chain on the magnetic induced shear odulus is quantitatively studied. When the ratio is large, the multi-chain model is compatible with the single chain model, but when the ratio is small, the difference of the two models is significant and can not be neglected. Making certain the size of the columns and the distance between adjacent columns, after constructing the computational model of BCT structures, the mechanical property of the magnetorheological elastomers composed of columnar structures is analyzed. Results show that, conventional point dipole model has overrated the magnetic-induced shear modulus of the magnetorheological elastomers. From the point of increasing the magnetic-induced shear modulus, when the particle volume fraction is small, the chain-like structure exhibits better result than the columnar structure, but when the particle volume fraction is large,the columnar structure will be better.

摘要：To investigate the validity of two dynamic modulus predictive models（ Witczak 1-37 A viscosity-based model and Witczak 1-40 D shear modulus-based model） in the context of Jiangsu, and evaluate the effect of different mixture design variables（ aggregate gradations, binder type, and volumetric properties） on dynamic modulus E＊, asphalt mixtures commonly used in the local surface layer, including Sup-13 and AC-13, are prepared in the laboratory and their dynamic modulus E＊values are predicted based on the above mentioned models. The corresponding asphalt tests, including viscosity and dynamic shear modulus tests, are also carried out to obtain the prediction model parameters. The test results showthat binder type and asphalt content have a significant impact on dynamic *** is a good correlation between the E＊values based on above two predictive models and the measured E＊, while a relatively lower bias can be expected from Witczak 1-37 A model. The test results can be used for the calibration of dynamic modulus with higher accuracy.

摘要：Multi-component mixture(MCM) is a complicated chemical system that contains a great deal of mixture rays with various mixture ratios, and each ray includes many mixtures with different concentration ***, in combined toxicity field, almost all studies on MCM focus on the mixtures designed by the equivalenteffect concentration ratio(EECR) procedure. However, the EECR mixtures cannot represent the whole mixture system because the EECR mixtures are located on one mixture ray in concentration space formed by multiple components. In our view, some optimal experimental design such as the uniform design(UD) should be used to effectively select many representative mixture rays from the MCM system,instead of single EECR ray. The uniform design ray(UDray) integrating UD idea with fixed-ratio ray design can systematically and comprehensively measure the combined toxicity changes in the MCM system. This review introduces the operation method, construction of uniform table and corresponding usable table, and some cases of application of the UD-ray to help readers easily use UD-ray in their MCM toxicity assessment.

摘要：As we approach the exascale era in supercomputing, designing a balanced computer system with a powerful computing ability and low power requirements has becoming increasingly important. The graphics processing unit（GPU） is an accelerator used widely in most of recent supercomputers. It adopts a large number of threads to hide a long latency with a high energy efficiency. In contrast to their powerful computing ability, GPUs have only a few megabytes of fast on-chip memory storage per streaming multiprocessor（SM）. The GPU cache is inefficient due to a mismatch between the throughput-oriented execution model and cache hierarchy design. At the same time, current GPUs fail to handle burst-mode long-access latency due to GPU＇s poor warp scheduling ***, benefits of GPU＇s high computing ability are reduced dramatically by the poor cache management and warp scheduling methods, which limit the system performance and energy efficiency. In this paper, we put forward a coordinated warp scheduling and locality-protected（CWLP） cache allocation scheme to make full use of data locality and hide latency. We first present a locality-protected cache allocation method based on the instruction program counter（LPC） to promote cache performance. Specifically, we use a PC-based locality detector to collect the reuse information of each cache line and employ a prioritised cache allocation unit（PCAU） which coordinates the data reuse information with the time-stamp information to evict the lines with the least reuse possibility. Moreover, the locality information is used by the warp scheduler to create an intelligent warp reordering scheme to capture locality and hide latency. Simulation results show that CWLP provides a speedup up to 19.8% and an average improvement of 8.8% over the baseline methods.

摘要：The traditional manner to design public transportation system is to sequentially design the transit network and public bicycle network. A new public transportation system design problem that simultaneously considers both bus network design and public bicycle network design is proposed. The chemical reaction optimization(CRO) is designed to solve the problem. A shortcoming of CRO is that, when the two-molecule collisions take place, the molecules are randomly picked from the ***, we improve CRO by employing different mating strategies. The computational results confirm the benefits of the mating strategies. Numerical experiments are conducted on the Sioux-Falls network. A comparison with the traditional sequential modeling framework indicates that the proposed approach has a better performance and is more robust. The practical applicability of the approach is proved by employing a real size network.

摘要：With the application of supercavitation effect, a novel device named rotational supercavitating evaporator(RSCE) was recently designed for desalination. In order to improve the blade shape of rotational cavitator in RSCE for performance optimization and then design three-dimensional blades, numerical simulations are conducted on the supercavitating flows(with cavitation number ranging from 0.055 to 0.315) around two-dimensional planar symmetric wedge-shaped cavitators with different wedge angles varied from 10 to 180 degrees. Proper numerical method for simulating supercavitating flows around planar symmetric cavitator is established, and assessment of k-ε-v2 -f turbulence model in simulating cavitating flows is conducted. It shows that the size of computational domain would affect the simulation result. Empirical formulae for supercavity dimensions about cavitation number at different wedge angles are obtained, which are of significant importance in the subsequent design of three-dimensional blade. The characteristics of resistance at different wedge angles are discussed, which, together with the characteristics of supercavity dimensions, play important roles in the optimal design of RSCE.

摘要：We devise three sorts of doped left-handed materials （DLHMs） by introducing inductors and capacitors into the traditional left-handed material （LHM） as heterogeneous elements. Some new properties are presented through finitedifference time-domain （FDTD） simulations. On the one hand, the resonance in the traditional LHM is weakened and the original pass band is narrowed by introducing inductors. On the other hand, the original pass band of the LHM can be shifted and a new pass band can be generated by introducing capacitors. When capacitors and inductors are introduced simultaneously, the resonance of traditional LHM is somewhat weakened and the number of original pass bands as well as its bandwidth can be changed.

摘要：An experimental study is conducted to investigate the influences of blade tip winglet on the flow field of a compressor cascade. The tests are performed in a low speed linear cascade with stationary endwall, with three blade tip configurations, including the baseline tip, the suction-side winglet tip and the pressure-side winglet tip. The fiowfield downstream of the cascade is measured using five-hole probe, from which the three-dimensional velocity field, vorticity field and pressure field are obtained. Static pressure measurements are made on the endwall above the blade row using pressure taps embedded in the plywood endwall. All measurements are made at both design and off-design conditions for tip clearance level of about 2 percent of the blade chord. The results revealed the incidence variation significantly affects the secondary flow and the associated loss field downstream of the cascade, where the tip leakage vortex and passage vortex exist as the major contributors on the field. The winglet geometry arrangements can change the trajectory of the tip leakage vortex. The suction-side winglet tip blade provides a lower overall total pressure loss coefficient when compared to the baseline tip blade and pressure-side winglet tip blade at all incidence angles.
