摘要：Airship shape is crucial to the design of stratosphere airships. In this paper, multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) technology is introduced into the design of airship shape. We devise a composite objective function, based on this technology, which takes account of various factors which influence airship performance, including aerodynamics, structures, energy and weight to determine the optimal airship shape. A shape generation algorithm is proposed and appropriate mathematical models are constructed. Simulation results show that the optimized shape gives an improvement in the value of the composite objective function compared with a reference shape.

摘要：This paper aims to present the configuration design approach and the energy management strategy （EMS） of a series-parallel hybrid electric transit bus （SPHEB） jointly developed by Shanghai Automotive Industry Co. Ltd. （SAIC） and Shanghai Jiao Tong University （SJTU）, china. A major feature of this SPHEB is that a novel manual transmission is designed to switch the powertrain configuration between series and parallel types. To reduce the fuel consumption as well as sustain the battery state of charge, an EMS including seven energy flow modes is designed and applied to this SPHEB. Governed by this EMS, the engine is maintained to operate in high efficiency regions. The experimental test carded on the transit bus city driving cycle is described and analyzed. The experimental results demonstrate the technical feasibility and fuel economy of this approach.

摘要：On the basis of the current sheet model, a new analytical solution for permanent magnet （PM） bearings is developed. Compared with analytical methods based on the coupling energy model and the magnetic dipole model, the proposed one is more physically intuitive and convenient for engineering designers. According to the analytical model, the thrust characteristics of a novel PM thrust bearing is studied and verified by finite element analysis （FEA）. In the proposed thrust bearing configuration, the rotor is composed of stacked PM tings with alternative axial magnetization directions, and the stator with alternative radial magnetization directions while copper rings are used to separate adjacent PM rings. A prototype PM thrust bearing with the proposed configuration is designed and fabricated. The performances of the PM thrust beating are experimentally validated. It is shown that the calculation accuracy of the presented analytical solution is satisfying.

摘要：This paper discusses the problem of design and optimization of low-energy transfer orbit with multi-body environment. A new integrative method is proposed to effectively solve the problem, in which the parameterized patched manifolds in CR3BP(circular restricted three-body problems), the shape-based method with multi-body environment, the homotopic method with multi-body environment, and the low-thrust capturing and descending algorithm with multi-body environment are all included. Firstly, the parameters describing the patched manifolds in CR3 BP are optimized until the least total absolute velocity increment has been got, including the employment of the shape-based method with multi-body environment. Secondly, the low-thrust control laws of the transfer orbit are optimized employing the homotopic method with multi-body environment that transfers the fuel optimization problem to an easier energy optimization problem. Thirdly, the low-thrust descending orbit around Mars is computed using the laws proposed in this paper. As a typical example, the Earth-Mars transfer orbit design is discussed. The results showed that the parameters describing the patched manifolds could be optimized by the DE(differential evolution) algorithm effectively; the homotopic method with multi-body environment could get the optimal value that meets the first order optimality conditions; and the low-thrust descending orbit could effectively be captured by Mars and finally become a circular parking orbit around it by the hypothesis control laws proposed in this paper. It shows that the final fuel cost is much less than the optimal transfer in the patched two-body problems. In conclusion, the method proposed in this paper could effectively solve the low-energy low-thrust optimal control problem in multi-body environment for the future deep space explorations.

摘要：This paper presents a macroblock-level (MB-level) decoding and deblocking method for supporting the flexible macroblock ordering (FMO) and arbitrary slice ordering (ASO) bit streams in H.264 decoder and its SOC/ASIC implementation. By searching the slice containing the current macroblock in the bit stream and switching slices correctly, MBs can be decoded in the raster scan order, while the decoding process can immediately begin as long as the slice containing the current MB is available. This architectural modification enables the MB-level decoding and deblocking 3-stage pipeline, and saves about 20% of SDRAM bandwidth. Implementation results showed that the design achieves real-time decoding of 1080HD (1920×1088@30 fps) at a system clock of 166 MHz.

摘要：We present a new sense amplifier circuit for EEPROM memory. The topology of the sense amplifier uses a voltage sensing method,having low cost and low power consumption as well as high reliability. The sense amplifier was implemented in an EEPROM realized with an SMIC 0.35-μm 2P3M CMOS embedded EEPROM process. Under the condition that the power supply is 3.3 V,simulation results showed that the charge time is 35 ns in the proposed sense amplifier,and that the maximum average current consumption during the read period is 40 μA. The novel topology allows the circuit to function with power supplies as low as 1.4 V. The sense amplifier has been implemented in 2-kb EEPROM memory for RFID tag IC applications,and has a silicon area of only 240 μm2.

摘要：Compression is an intuitive way to boost the performance of a database system. However, compared with other physical database design techniques, compression consumes large amount of CPU power. There is a trade-off between the re- duction of disk access and the overhead of CPU processing. Automatic design and adaptive administration of database systems are widely demanded, and the automatic selection of compression schema to compromise the trade-off is very important. In this paper, we present a model with novel techniques to integrate a rapidly convergent agent-based evolution framework, i.e. the SWAF (SWarm Algorithm Framework), into adaptive attribute compression for relational database. The model evolutionally consults statistics of CPU load and IO bandwidth to select compression schemas considering both aspects of the trade-off. We have im- plemented a prototype model on Oscar RDBMS with experiments highlighting the correctness and efficiency of our techniques.
