摘要：An optimization model is constructed to formulate the maximization problem on the capacity of V-belt drive. The concavity,the monotonicity and the global optimality condition are studied for the objective function,and it is proved that the feasible region of the model is bounded,closed and convex under some design conditions. Then,a solution method,called an optimal segment algorithm,is developed to find the global maximizer of the model. Under four different design conditions,solution methods are presented respectively. Some real case studies are employed to demonstrate that the model and the algorithm in this paper are promising.

摘要：The cellular neural/nonlinear network （CNN） is a powerful tool for image and video signal processing, robotic and biological visions. This paper introduces a kind of CNNs with performance of extracting closed domains in binary images, and gives a general method for designing templates of such a kind of CNNs. One theorem provides parameter inequalities for determining parameter intervals for implementing prescribed image processing functions, respectively. Examples for extracting closed domains in binary scale images are given.

摘要：Consider the following heteroscedastic semiparametric regression model：where {Xi, 1 〈 i 〈 n} are random design points, errors {ei, 1 〈 i 〈 n} are negatively associated （NA） random variables, （r2 = h（ui）, and {ui} and {ti} are two nonrandom sequences on [0, 1]. Some wavelet estimators of the parametric component β, the non- parametric component g（t） and the variance function h（u） are given. Under some general conditions, the strong convergence rate of these wavelet estimators is O（n- 1 log n）. Hence our results are extensions of those re, sults on independent random error settings.

摘要：In piled and geosynthetic-reinforced(PGR) embankment, the arching behavior determines the overburden load on piles and subsoils. Placement of geosynthetic is effective in reducing the relative displacement between pile and subsoil. When the mobilized shear stress is less than the shear strength, partially developed arching will occur. Consequently, existing analytical methods, adopting the ultimate shear strength failure criterion, need to be improved. This study developed a simplified 2 D analytical method, which is based on the developing arching effect, to evaluate the load redistribution of the PGR embankment. Then, the influences of embankment height and internal friction angle, subsoil depth, ratio of pile cap width to pile clear spacing(RPC) and geosynthetic tensile stiffness on the critical height ratio, stress concentration ratio, soil arching ratio, geosynthetic tension and axial strain were investigated. This study suggests that a RPC of 1:1.0 and a one-way of single-layer geosynthetic tensile stiffness of 2000 kN/m should be considered as the sensitivity thresholds for the PGR embankment.

摘要：An important step for achieving the knowledge-based design freedom on nano-and interfacial materials is attained by elucidating the related surface and interface thermodynamics from the first principles so as to allow engineering the microstructures for desired properties through smartly designing fabrication processing *** is demonstrated for SnO2 nano-particle surfaces and also a technologically important Ag-SnO2 interface fabricated by in-situ internal *** on defect thermodynamics,we first modeled and calculated the equilibrium surface and interface structures,and as well corresponding properties,as a function of the ambient temperature and oxygen partial pressure.A series of first principles energetics calculations were then performed to construct the equilibrium surface and interface phase diagrams,to describe the environment dependence of the microstructures and properties of the surfaces and interfaces during fabrication and service *** use and potential application of these phase diagrams as a process design tool were suggested and discussed.

摘要：In order to propel the development of metal magnetic memory （MMM） technique in fatigue damage detection, the Jiles-Atherton model （J-A model） was modified to describe MMM mechanism in elastic stress stage. A series of rotating bending fatigue experiments were conducted to study the stress-magnetization relationship and verify the correctness of modified J-A model. In MMM detection, the magnetization of material irreversibly approaches to the local equilibrium state Mo instead of global equilibrium state M^n under cyclic stress, and the M0-a curves are loops around the Mar,-a curve. The modified J-A model is constructed by replacing M~ in J-A model with M0, and it can describe the magnetomechanical effect well at low external magnetic field. In the rotating bending fatigue experiments, the MMM field distribution in normal direction around cylinder specimen is similar to the stress distribution, and the calculation result of model coincides with experiment result after some necessary modifications. The MMM field variation with time at a certain point in fatigue process is divided into three stages with the variation of stable stress-stain hysteresis loop, and the calculation results of model can explain not only the three stages of MMM field changes, but also the different change laws when the applied magnetic field and initial magnetic field are different. The MMM field distribution in normal direction along specimen axis reflects stress concentration effect at artificial defect, and the magnetic signal fluctuates around the defect at late fatigue stage. The calculation results coincide with the initial MMM principle and can explain signal fluctuates around the defect. The modified J-A model can explain experiment results well, and it is fit for MMM field characterization.

摘要：The random wave load is applied to dynamic response analysis of circular caisson breakwater. The motion process of circular caisson breakwater is classified as rotation motion mode and rotation-and-sliding motion mode. The dynamic model system composed of damper-antislider to control the lateral sliding is introduced, and corresponding dynamic equations of two motion modes are established. The formulas to calculate added mass and new conversion relation of the unit rota- tional stiffness coefficient are put forward according to the characteristic of the circular caisson breakwater. An engineering case is calculated by a program compiled in Fortran language using proposed dynamic model and method. The validity of the model is calibrated.
