摘要：An approach for the integrated optimization of the construction/expansion capacity of high-voltage/ medium-voltage (HV/MV) substations and the configuration of MV radial distribution network was presented using plant growth simulation algorithm (PGSA). In the optimization process, fixed costs correspondent to the investment in lines and substations and the variable costs associated to the operation of the system were considered under the constraints of branch capacity, substation capacity and bus voltage. The optimization variables considerably reduce the dimension of variables and speed up the process of optimizing. The effectiveness of the proposed approach was tested by a distribution system planning.

摘要：This paper presents the first of a series of studies on the seismic design of high-rise towers for cablestayed bridges under strong *** practical cable-stayed bridge with a 730 m long main span and two high-rise towers over 200 m in height was selected for this *** preliminary results show that compared with piers,the tower is more vulnerable to pulse-like earthquakes,and it may develop plasticity at certain *** addition,viscous dampers may not have the same effect during pulse-like earthquakes as they do under site-specific ***,reoptimization of damper parameters or reconsideration of other energy dissipation devices will be needed if strong earthquakes are likely to occur.

摘要：Breaching of embankments has recently drawn more and more attention due to its importance in the development of early warning systems for embankment failures,in the evacuation plans of people at risk,in the design method of embankments based on a risk-approach,etc. The erosion process observed during embankment breaching tests in the laboratory and the analysis of the results are described in this paper. Five embankments,one constructed with pure sand,four with different sand-silt-clay mixtures were tested. The height of the embankments was 75 cm and the width at the crest was 60 cm. Examination of the data from these tests indicated that headcut erosion played an important role in the process of breach growth in the embankments made of cohesive soil mixtures. Flow shear erosion,fluidization of the headcut slope surface,undermining of the headcut due to impinging jet scour and discrete soil mechanical slope mass failure from the headcut were all observed during these tests. For the embankment constructed with pure sand,the breach erosion process was dominated by shear erosion,which led to a gradual and relatively uniform retreat of the downstream slope. The cohesive proportion in the sand-silt-clay mixtures strongly slowed down the erosion process.

摘要：To understand the utilizability of TV white spaces （TVWS）, a comprehensive overview of the outdoor and indoor network design over TVWS is given. The related challenges are analyzed. The potential approaches to overcoming these challenges are discussed. The open research issues are investigated. The result shows that： in the indoor scenario, the white space ratio is on average 18.4% higher than that in the outdoor scenario, which corresponds to 7.7 vacant TV channels. Both network design includes 7 key components： TV spectrum identification, access point （AP） discovery, AP association, spectrum allocation, band width adaptation, interface control and disruption handling. Due to building penetration loss, the indoor TVWS identification and AP placement should be carefully considered in the indoor scenario.

摘要：Both the repeated triaxial test （RTT） and the Hamburg wheel tracking test （HWTT） are adopted to evaluate the high temperature performance of the stone mastic asphalt （SMA） and the mastic asphalt （MA）. The correlation of the permanent deformations of the MA and the correlation of the deformation developments of the SMA between the two tests are analyzed, respectively. Results show that both the two tests can effectively identify the high temperature performance of mixtures, and the correlation between the final results of the two tests as well as that between the deformation developments of the two tests are excellent with R20.9. In order to further prove the correlation, viscoelastic parameters estimated from the RTT results is used to simulate the rutting development in the HWTT slabs by the finite element method （FEM）. Results indicate that the correlation between the two tests is significant with errors less than 10%. It is suitable to predict the rutting development with the viscoelastic parameters obtained from the RTT.
