摘要：The nonlinear governing equations of the liquid sloshing modals in a cylindrical storage tank are established. Through analytical analysis, the analytical expressions of the solutions of this kind of system are obtained. With different parameters, the dynamical behaviors of the solutions are different from the trivial ones. To prevent system instability, two selection principles that the stiffness equations are positive-definite and the nonlinear terms of the system are not regenerative elements are given. Meanwhile, numerical simulations are also given, which confirm the analytical results.

摘要：We propose a method to bend a self-collimated beam in a photonic crystal. The beam bending relies on the gradual variation of the constitutive parameters of the photonic crystal. A new Y-shaped beam splitter is designed with a composite structure constructed using two graded photonic crystals. We demonstrate that the incident beam is divided into two output beams by the designed splitter. The power ratio of the two beams can be adjusted easily by changing the location of the input beam.

摘要：A method was presented to implement the detecting and tracking of moving targets through omnidirec-tional vision. The method combined optical flow with particle filter arithmetic, in which optical flow field was used to detect and locate moving targets and particle filter was used to track the detected moving objects. According to the circular image character of omnidirectional vision, the calculation equation of optical flow field and the tracking arithmetic of particle filter were improved based on the polar coordinates at the omnidirectional center. The edge of a randomly moving object could be detected by optical flow field and was surrounded by a reference region in the particle filter. A dynamic motion model was established to predict particle state. Histograms were used as the fea-tures in the reference region and candidate regions. The mutual information (MI) and Gaussian function were com-bined to calculate particle weights. Finally, the state of tracked object was computed by the total particle states with weights. Experiment results show that the proposed method could detect and track moving objects with better real-time performance and accuracy.

摘要：A series of 4,4＇-disubstituted-[2,2＇]-bipyridines, featuring electron withdrawing/donating functional groups such as amino, chloro, nitro, ethoxycarbonyl, carboxy, methyl, methoxy and hydroxymethyl, have been syn- thesized and employed in the copolymerization of carbon monoxide （CO） and styrene. The available bipyridine and its derivatives were coordinated with palladium （ II ） acetate for catalyzing the copolymerization of CO and styrene, and the concomitant polyketone was characterized by means of t3C NMR, FTIR, differential scanning calo- rimetry （DSC） and element analysis techniques concerning its structure and thermal performance. The effect of dif- ferent electron-donating and electron-withdrawing groups on catalyst performance and molecular weight of co- polymer was studied under certain experimental condition. It has been proved that the enhancement of electron donating and conjugative effects on bipyridine ligand will not only improve the catalytic activity of the composi- tion, but also increase the molecular weight of the as-prepared polyketone. The catalytic activity is the highest in hydroxymethyl substituted 2,2＇-bipyridine ligand（l 356 gSTCO/（gPd · h））, when the molecular weight and polydispersity index of the polyketone are Mn = 8 502, Mw = 1 3440 and Mw/Mn = 1.581, respectively.

摘要：The influence of the third component on gas-liquid mass transfer was studied by use of laser holographic interferometry. Four surfactants were added respectively and experimental results show that the microamount of surfactants can change obviously the concentration near the interface on bubble mass transfer process, which indicated that the third component has a significant effect on the bubble mass transfer process.

摘要：A novel superimposed photodetector （PD） is put forward. The photodetector can obtain a couple Of differential photocur- rent signals from one input optical signal. The light injection efficiency and the vertical work distance of this ***- tector are much higher than those of the others. The superimposed photodetctor is designed based on the standard 0.18 p.m CMOS process. The responsivity, bandwidth and transient response of the photodetector are simulated by a commercial simulation software of ATLAS. The responsivities of two obtained photocurrent signals are 0.035 A/W and 0.034 A/W, while the bandwidths are 3.8 GHz and 5.2 GHz, respectively. A full differential optical receiver which uses the superim- posed photodetector as input is simulated. The frequency response and 4 Gbit/s eye diagram of the optical receiver are also obtained. The results show that the two output signals can be used as the differential signal.

摘要：Supersaturated designs （SSDs） have been widely used in factor screening experiments. The present paper aims to prove that the maximal balanced designs are a kind of special optimal SSDs under the E（fNOD） criterion. We also propose a new method, called the complementary design method, for constructing E（fNoD） optimal SSDs. The basic principle of this method is that for any existing E（fNOD） optimal SSD whose E（fNOD） value reaches its lower bound, its complementary design in the corresponding maximal balanced design is also E（fNOD） optimal. This method applies to both symmetrical and asymmetrical （mixed-level） cases. It provides a convenient and efl：icient way to construct many new designs with relatively large numbers of factors. Some newly constructed designs are given as examples.
