摘要：The ground roll and body wave usually show significant differences in arrival time, frequency content, and polarization characteristics, and conventional polarization filters that operate in either the time or frequency domain cannot consider all these elements. Therefore, we have developed a time-frequency dependent polarization filter based on the S transform to attenuate the ground roll in seismic records. Our approach adopts the complex coefficients of the S transform of the multi-component seismic data to estimate the local polarization attributes and utilizes the estimated attributes to construct the filter function. In this study, we select the S transform to design this polarization filter because its scalable window length can ensure the same number of cycles of a Fourier sinusoid, thereby rendering more precise estimation of local polarization attributes. The results of applying our approach in synthetic and real data examples demonstrate that the proposed polarization filter can effectively attenuate the ground roll and successfully preserve the body wave.

摘要：This paper introduces a homemade injection-enhanced gate transistor （IEGT） with blocking voltage up to 3.7 kV. An advanced cell structure with dummy trench and a large cell pitch is adopted in the IEGT. The carrier concentration at the N-emitter side is increased by the larger cell pitch of the IEGT and it enhances the P-i-N effect within the device. The result shows that the IEGT has a remarkablely low on-state forward voltage drop （VCE（sat）） compared to traditional trench IGBT structures. However, too large cell pitch decreases the channel density of the trench IEGT and increases the voltage drop across the channel, finally it will increase the VCE（sat） of the IEGT. Therefore, the cell pitch selection is the key parameter consideration in the design of the IEGT. In this paper, a cell pitch selection method and the optimal value of 3.3 kV IEGT are presented by simulations and experimental results.

摘要：A mathematical model of gear tooth profiles using the ellipse curve, whose curvature is convenient to control by changing the mathematical parameters as its line of action, was built based on the meshing theory. The equation of undercutting condition was derived from the model. A special epicycloidal tooth profile was also presented. An example gear drive with variation of the ellipse parameters was taken to illustrate the proposed method. The contact ratio of the gear drive designed by the proposed method was analyzed. A comparison of the property of the gear drive designed with the involute gear drive was also carried out. The results confirm that the proposed gear drive has higher contact ratio in comparison with the involute gear drive.

摘要：There is a tradeoff between generalization capability and computational overhead in multi-class learning. We propose a generative probabilistic multi-class classifier, considering both the generalization capability and the learning/prediction rate. We show that the classifier has a max-margin property. Thus, prediction on future unseen data can nearly achieve the same performance as in the training stage. In addition, local variables are eliminated, which greatly simplifies the optimization problem. By convex and probabilistic analysis, an efficient online learning algorithm is developed. The algorithm aggregates rather than averages dualities, which is different from the classical situations. Empirical results indicate that our method has a good generalization capability and coverage rate.
