摘要：Exploring highly efficient electrochemical water splitting catalysts has recently attracted extensive research interest from both fundamental researches and practical *** metal‐based layered double hydroxides(LdHs)have been proved to be one of the most efficient materials for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),however,still suffered from low conductivity and sluggish kinetics for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),which largely inhibited the overall water splitting *** address this dilemma,enormous approaches including doping regulation,intercalation tuning and defect engineering are therefore rationally designed and ***,we focus on the recent exciting progress of LdHs hybridization with other two‐dimensional(2d)materials for water splitting reactions,not barely for enhancing OER efficiency but also for boosting HER ***,the structural features,morphologies,charge transfer and synergistic effects for the heterostructure/heterointerface that influence the electrocatalytic performance are discussed in *** hybrid 2d building blocks not only serve as additional conductivity and structural supported but also promote electron transfer at the interfaces and further enhance the electrocatalytic *** construction and application of the nanohybrid materials will guide a new direction in developing multifunctional materials based on LdHs,which will contribute to energy conversion and storage.

摘要：Quantum tunneling with band-structure engineering has been feasibly developed for many applications in electrical,optoelectrical,and magnetic *** relies on layer-by-layer design and fabrication,which is an interdisciplinary research field covering material science and *** since the discovery of two-dimensional(2 d)layered materials,tunneling devices based on 2d van der Waals(vd W)heterostructures have been extensively studied as potential next-generation devices.2 d materials are thin at the atomic scale and extremely flat without surface dangling *** of these unique characteristics,2 d vd W heterostructures offer superior tunneling performance that reaches the benchmark of traditional Si technology and possess additional ability to scale down device ***,we comprehensively review quantum tunneling in 2 d vd W heterostructures,in addition to their unique mechanisms and ***,we analyze the possibilities and challenges currently faced by 2 d tunneling devices and provide a perspective on their exploitation for advanced future *** investigation of technology-and performancecontrol of 2 d tunneling devices is at their beginning stages;however,these devices should emerge as competitive candidates for realizing low-power supply,fast-speed capability,and high-frequency operating devices.

摘要：Two-dimensional(2d) ternary materials have sprung up in a broad variety of optoelectronic applications due to their robust degree of freedom to design the physical properties of the materials through adjusting the stoichiometric ratio. However, the controlled growth of high-quality 2d ternary materials with good chemical stoichiometry remains challenging, which severely impedes their further development and future device applications. Herein, we synthesize ternary Bi_(2)Te_(2)Se(BTS) flakes with a thickness down to 4 nm and a lateral dimension about 60 μm by an atmospheric-pressure solid source thermal evaporation method on a mica substrate. The phonon vibration and electrical transportation of 2d BTS are respectively investigated by temperature-dependent Raman spectrum and conductivity measurements. Furthermore, the photodetector based on 2d BTS exhibits excellent performance with a high light on/off ratio of 1300(365 nm), a wide spectral response range from 365 to 980 nm, and an ultra-fast response speed up to 2 μs. In addition, its electrical and photoelectric properties can be modulated by the gate voltage, offering an improved infrared responsivity to 2.74 A W^(-1) and an on/off ratio of 2266 under 980 nm. This work introduces an effective approach to obtain 2d BTS flakes and demonstrates their excellent prospects in optoelectronics.
