摘要：The contents about the central action mechanisms of needling Zusanli（ST 36） were sorted by summarizing the relevant literatures published in the past 10 years, and it was found that： by comparing acupuncture at Zusanli（ST 36）, other acupoints or sham points, most studies showed that Zusanli（ST 36） had relatively specific characteristics in the brain function response; studies on the central action mechanisms of Zusanli（ST 36） were mainly focused on sequelae of cerebral apoplexy, pain, gastrointestinal diseases, weight loss and drug addiction withdrawal and so on; acupuncture manipulations, stimulation methods, individual differences, stimulation quantity, and stimulation duration, etc. could also induce different brain function responses; acupuncture at Zusanli（ST 36） had an after-working effect, also called long-term effect, but with poor repeatability. So, it was suggested that the future studies should focus on the factors that affect the clinical efficacies and experimental results, including the compatibility effects of the acupoints, reproducibility of research results, sample size, acupuncture methods, long-term effects and disease entities.

摘要：Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture plus Dang Gui Bu Xue Qu Feng Tang for benign essential blepharospasm(BEB).Methods:A prospective randomized controlled trial was performed.A total of 105 participants were randomized 1:1:1 into an acupuncture group,a herbal medicine group and an acupuncture plus herbal medicine *** in the acupuncture group received manual acupuncture treatment,twice a *** in the herbal medicine group received Dang Gui Bu Xue Qu Feng Tang,oral administration,once a *** in the acupuncture plus herbal medicine group received both *** therapeutic effects of the three groups were evaluated after four weeks of *** primary outcome was the Jankovic rating scale(JRS)score,and the secondary outcome was the blepharospasm disability index(BSDI)***:After four weeks of treatment,the JRS total scores significantly decreased in all three groups versus baseline(P0.05).The acupuncture plus herbal medicine group had a greater decrease in the JRS severity score than the herbal medicine group(P0.05).The BSDI scores significantly decreased in all three groups versus baseline(P0.05).Conclusion:It is effective in the treatment of BEB either to use acupuncture and Dang Gui Bu Xue Qu Feng Tang alone or in *** combination therapy shows a more significant effect than either of the treatment alone.

摘要：Objective： To summarize and critically assess the evidence from randomized controlled trials（RCTs） of acupuncture in treating dry eye syndrome（DES） according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses（PRISMA） statement and the Cochrane Collaboration ***： A search of PubMed, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, *** and Embase was made from their inception to August 2016, as well as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean databases. Two reviewers independently selected RCTs and assessed the methodological quality. Meta-analysis and the level of evidence were processed by RevMan 5.3 and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation（GRADE）***： After selection, 8 trials were subjected to our systematic review. The methodological quality was low *** 3-10 weeks follow-up showed that acupuncture improved the tear film break-up time（BUT）（MD=1.33, 95%CI=1.01-1.66, 619 participants）. The mean difference of Schirmer＇s test was 1.73 mm（95%CI=1.28-2.18, 618participants） between the acupuncture group and the control group. The subjective variables exhibited no significant ***： The low methodological quality of the trials does not suggest drawing firm conclusions on the value of acupuncture therapy for DES. acupuncture treatment may have some effects on the tear film BUT and Schirmer＇s test,but not on the subjective symptoms. Well-planned large-scale high-quality RCTs are needed to make it clear whether acupuncture is effective in treating DES.

摘要：Objective： To observe the clinical effect of lower-reinforcing and upper-reducing acupuncture method for hyperplasia of mammary gland （HMG） and its influence on estradiol （E2） and progesterone （P）. Methods： A randomized, single-blinded and controlled trial was conducted. A total of 124 cases conforming to the inclusion criteria were randomized by random number table into a treatment group and a control group, with 62 cases in each group. Patients in both groups received acupuncture therapy at the same acupoints, while patients in the treatment group received lower-reinforcing and upper-reducing method, and patients in the control group received even reinforcing-reducing manipulation. The treatment started around 10 d before menstruation and was conducted every other day. Patients received 5 treatments in each menstruation cycle for consecutive 3 cycles. The levels of E2, P and E2/P and clinical efficacy were measured before and after treatment. Results： After treatment, the breast lump size, pain intensity and concomitant symptoms score in both groups were substantially lower than those before treatment, showing statistical significances （all P〈0.01）, and the improvement in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significances （all P〈0.01）. After treatment, the overall effective rate was 91.9% in the treatment group, higher than 72.6% in the control group, and the between-group comparison showed a statistical significance （P〈0.01）. After treatment, levels of E2, P and E2/P value showed no statistical significance when compared with those before treatment in the two groups （all P〉0.05）. Conclusion： Lower-reinforcing and upper-reducing acupuncture method can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms and signs in HMG patients, and produce a better effect than even reinforcing-reducing manipulation. 摘要：Objective： to select the optimal acupuncture therapeutic projects on cerebral infarction-related motor dysfunction of lower limbs. Methods： to optimize the combination projects on 4 factors and 3 levels affecting the acupuncture effect on cerebral infarction by using orthogonal design targeting on patients with cerebral infarction-related motor dysfunction of lower limbs, and Fugl-Meyer score of limb motor function was taken as indexes. Results： The relatively optimal Fugl-Meyer score of lower limb function can be obtained within 3-day duration of cerebral infarction. Conclusions： As far as the considered factors and levels are concerned, the previously mentioned project is the optimal acupuncture therapeutic project for cerebral infarction-related motor dysfunction of lower limbs.

摘要：Objective： To summarize existing evidence on acupuncture treatment for peripheral neuropathy （PN） and potentially generate a meta-analysis by performing a structured literature review. Methods： Literature searches were conducted on 11 databases. All identified clinical studies of acupuncture and electroacupuncture for peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes, chemotherapy, human immunodeficiency virus （HIV） and unknown cause were included. Study criteria such as sample size, randomization, controls, blinding, acupuncture patterns and outcome measurements were examined for the requirements of the meta-analysis. Results： Among the 26 studies included, no high quality randomized clinical trial was found. There were methodical limitations in all studies. Small sample size was found in 9 studies, lack of randomization in 25, lack of controls in 8, inadequate controls in 11, and lack of blinding in 24 studies, as well as a high variability of acupuncture patterns and outcome measurements. Conclusion： Nearly all acupuncture pilot studies on peripheral neuropathy give positive results encouraging further investigation, but a meta-analysis is not possible on the existent data. Randomized, controlled, blinded clinical trials with adequate design and significance still have to be performed.

摘要：Objective： Different kinds of sham acupuncture are widely applied in randomized controlled trials （RCTs） to explore whether acupuncture has intrinsic therapeutic effects beyond the placebo effects for certain indication. To make conclusions of trials more comparable and convincing, it is of great necessity to unify the sham acupuncture procedure. Methods： RCTs of acupuncture with high quality in the recent 14 years were reviewed, and the appropriateness of the sham acupuncture procedures was assessed. Results： The sham acupuncture procedures were mainly classified into five kinds according to their administered sites, penetrating, and intervention apparatus. Conclusion： Among the sham acupuncture procedures, needling near the selected acupoints, needling at a distant non-acupoints, and non-penetrating sham acupuncture are most commonly used. Sham acupuncture performed at distant site belongs to non-meridian and non-acupoint may be an ideal control for the study of the intrinsic therapeutic effects of acupuncture. Besides, the selection of controls must focus on the design and aim of RCTs, such as non-inferiority, equivalence and superiority trials.

摘要：Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and rehabilitation on poststroke hemiplegic spasticity, and probe into the indices of efficacy assessment of the disease. Methods According to the randomized, controlled and blind clinical trial design, 229 cases enrolled in accordance with the inclusive criteria were divided into 3 groups based on visiting sequence： treatment group 1 （74 cases）, treated with acupuncture [Jianyu （肩髃 LI 15）, Quchi （曲池 LI 11）, Waiguan （外关 TE 5） etc. on the affected side]; treatment group 2 （75 cases）, treated with acupuncture as treatment group 1 and combined with rehabilitation as control group; control group （80 cases）, treated with rehabilitation （Bobath facilitation technique）. 5 treatments were given each week, continuously for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy on post-stroke hemiplegic spasticity was observed systematically after the treatment of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation. Results The research showed that the baseline situations of 3 groups were good, the group division was proportionate, indicating strong comparability （P〉0.05）. Based on the modified Ashworth Spasticity Scale （modified ASS）, the total effective rate was 63.01% （46/73） in treatment group 1, 66.67%（50/75） in treatment group 2 and 44.00% （33/75） in control group, indicating a statistical significant difference among 3 groups （P〈0.05）. Based on MAS motor function scale, the function improvement in treatment group 2 was superior to that in treatment group 1 and control group, indicating statistical significant differences among 3 groups （both P〈0.05）. Based on modified Barthel index, the daily life activity in treatment group 2 was superior in the improvement as compared with treatment group 1 and control group, but without statistical significant difference indicated （P〉0.05）. Conclusion The efficacy of post-stroke hemiplegic spasticity is definite with acupuncture combined with rehabilitation, and the acupuncture program is safe and effective.
