摘要：Fugitive dust has been recognized as an important contributor to air pollution,and artificial porous fence is one of the most effective management strategies to reduce fugitive dust in open *** improve the shelter effects and efficiency of Particulate Matter(PM)reduction of traditional fences,this study proposed five bionic fences and their capability was evaluated through wind tunnel *** results indicated that all of bionic fences presented better efficiency in reducing wind speed and PM concentrations compared with traditional fences,and they were more efficient in capturing *** the bionic fences,the non-woven cloth material with four-leave opening presented the best capability both in wind speed and PM *** proposed bionic fences may be further developed and studied for future application in capturing fine PM and adapting to the wind.

摘要：Structural colors,derived from existing natural creatures,have aroused widespread attention in the materials regulation for different ***,inspired by the color adjusting mechanism of hummingbird,we present a novel shape-memory structural color hydrogel film by introducing shape memory polymers(SMPs)into synthetic inverse opal scaffold *** excellent flexibility as well as the inverse opal structure of the hydrogel films imparts them with stable stretchability and brilliant structural *** from the transient structural anisotropy of copolymers,the hybrid films are possessed with shape-morphing behaviors *** on the shape transformations and color responsiveness performance,we have demonstrated diverse structural color actuators with complex shapes for different ***,as the photothermal responsive graphene quantum dots were integrated into the hydrogel,the hybrid films could also be endowed with the feature of light-controlled reversible deformation with synchronous structural color *** features demonstrate that the presented shape-memory structural color hydrogel film is valuable for soft robotics with multifunctions of sensing,communication and disguise.

摘要：Natural anisotropic nanostructures occurring in several organisms have gained more and more attention because of their obvious advantages in sensitivity, stability, security, miniaturization, portability, online use, and remote monitoring. Due to the development of research on nature-inspired bionic structures and the demand for highly efficient, low-cost microfabrication techniques, an understanding of and the ability to replicate the mechanism of structural coloration have become increasingly significant. These sophisticated structures have many unique functions and are used in many applications. Many sensors have been proposed based on their novel structures and unique optical properties. Several of these bio-inspired sensors have been used for infrared radiation/thermal, pH, and vapor techniques, among others, and have been discussed in detail, with an intense focus on several biomedical applications. However, many applications have yet to be discovered. In this review, we will describe these nanostructured materials based on their sources in nature and various structures, such as layered, hierarchical, and helical structures. In addition, we discuss the functions endowed by these structures, such as superhydrophobicity, adhesion, and high strength, enabling them to be employed in a number of applications in biomedical fields, including cell cultivation, biosensors, and tissue engineering.

摘要：Long-term air contamination and pollution challenges in particulate matter(PM) have raised fervent concerns for public health, e.g., the PM physical damage or the bacteria and virus carried by the PM. The desired air filter, seeking both high filtration efficiency and low pressure drop remains challenging. Here, we report a bio-inspired spindle-knot halloysite nanotube microsphere-incorporated nanofiber(HNM-NF) filter with the assembly and shape structures of the spider silk. The resulting HNM-NFs exhibit integrated properties of high surface energy, hydrophilicity and strong PM capture. The spindle-knot structures could shrink the outer pore size on two-dimensional(2 D) surface and construct the fluffy 3 D reticular architecture, facilitating high-efficiency air pollutant capture(>85.0%) while maintaining low resistance to airflow(~39 Pa). The spindle-knot construction method was applicable to various materials(i.e.,Al_(2)O_(3), ZnO and TiO_(2)) and volume production of the microsphere-incorporated NF cartridge. The diversified spindleknot construction will be valuable for adapting to meet different filtration requirements.
