摘要：A broadband reflective polarization converter is proposed. The unit cell of polarization converter is composed of a single-split resonant ring, a double-split resonant ring, a dielectric substrate and a metallic ground. The simulated results show that the polarization converter can convert x-polarized waves into y-polarized waves and obtain a broadband polarization conversion from 0.501 0 THz to 1.390 0 THz with the polarization conversion ratio(PCR) beyond 80% at normal incidence. Moreover, the surface current distributions are investigated to explain the polarization conversion mechanism. Finally, a good agreement is achieved between simulated and measured results. The polarization converter can be applied in terahertz imaging, communication and stealthy technology.

摘要：The design of a bidirectional dc-dc power converter specifically for a distributed energy application is presented. The existing two different DC voltage battery bank of the distributed generation needs to interlink each other using a bi-directional dc-dc converter in order to minimize the unbalance of the output load currents of the three inverters connected to electric grid system. Through this connection, a current can flow from one system to another or vice versa depending on which systems need the current most. Thus, unbalanced currents of the grid line have been minimized and the reliability and performance of the DER grid connected system has been increased. A detailed mathematical analysis of the converter under steady state and transient condition are presented. Mathematical models for boost and buck modes are being derived and the simulink model is constructed in order to simulate the system. Moreover, the model has been validated on the actual operation of the converter, showing that the simulated results in Matlab Simulink are consistent with the experimental ones.

摘要：An analytic closed-form based loop compensator for direct current-direct current （DC-DC） buckboost converter in discontinuous conduction with peak current-mode control is proposed to increase efficiency of the desired process through systemization. As a result, the process saves a lot of computation time that can be translated into design cost savings. Finally, the output voltage regulation in the presence of audio susceptibility and output impedance is shown for verifying.

摘要：Traditional DC-DC converter topologies interface two power terminals: a source and a load. The construction of diverse and flexible power management and distribution (PMAD) systems with such topologies is governed by a tight compromise between converter count, efficiency, and control complexity. The broader impact of the current research activity is the development of enhanced power converter systems suitable for a wide range of applications. Potential users of this technology include the designers of portable and stand-alone systems such as laptops, hand-held electronics, and communication repeater stations. High power topology options support the evolution of clean power technologies such as hybrid-electric vehicles (HEV’s) and solar vehicles. DC-DC converter is considered as an advanced environmental issue since it is a greenhouse emission eliminator. By utilizing the advancement of these renewable energy sources, we minimize the use of fossil fuel. Thus, we will have a cleaner and pollution free environment. In this paper, a three-port DC-DC converter is designed and discussed. The converter was built and tested at the energy research laboratory at Taibah University, Al Madinah, KSA.

摘要：The Objective of this paper is to give more insight into CCM Operation of the LCL converter to obtain op-timum design using state-space analysis and to verify the results using PSPICE Simulation for wide variation in loading conditions. LCL Resonant Full Bridge converter (RFB) is a new, high performance DC-DC con-verter. High frequency dc-dc resonant converters are widely used in many space and radar power supplies owing to their small size and lightweight. The limitations of two element resonant topologies can be over-come by adding a third reactive element termed as modified series resonant converter (SRC). A three ele-ment resonant converter capable of driving voltage type load with load independent operation is presented. We have used embedded based triggering circuit and the embedded ‘C’ Program is checked in Keil Software and also triggering circuit is simulated in PSPICE Software. To compare the simulated results with hardware results and designed resonant converter is 200W and the switching frequency is 50 KHz.

摘要：Recently, resonant AC/DC converter has been accepted by the industry. However, the efficiency will be decreased at light load. So, a novel topology with critical controlling mode combined with resonant ones is proposed in this paper. The new topology can correspond to a 90 plus percent of power converting. So,a novel topology of an state of art integrated circuit, which can be used as power management circuit, has been designed based on the above new topology. A simulator which is specifically suitable for the power controller has been founded in this work and it has been used for the simulation of the novel architecture and the proposed integrated circuit.

摘要：A DC-DC converter for flash memory IPs performing erasing by the FN (Fowler-Nordheim) tunneling and programming by the CHEI (channel hot electron injection) is designed in this paper. For the DC-DC converter for flash memory IPs using a dual voltage of VDD (=1.5V±0.15V)/VRD (=3.1V±0.1V), a scheme of using VRD (Read Voltage) instead of VDD is proposed to reduce the pumping stages and pumping capacitances of its charge pump circuit. VRD (=3.1V±0.1V) is a regulated voltage by a voltage regulator with an external voltage of 5V, which is used as the WL activation voltage in the read mode and an input voltage of the charge pump. The designed DC-DC converter outputs positive voltages of VP6V (=6V), VP8V (=8V) and VP9V(=9V);and a negative voltage of? VM8V (=-8V) in the write mode.

摘要：A novel forward-flyback converter employing two switches and two transformers is presented. Two diodes of the primary side enable the voltage stress of two switches to be clamped at the input voltage ,which is lower than that of a conventional forward-flyback converter. Two transformers offer the following advantages. Firstly, the turns of primary transformer winding are reduced to half of that of a conventional forward-flyback converter with a single transformer; Secondly, the use of two transformers enables the smaller low-profile cores to be utilized, thus facilitating a low-profile design. The unequal condition of turn ratios is compared with the equal condition of turn ratios. When two turn ratios are unequal, the power distribution between the two transformers can be easily designed. Finally, experimental results verify the above analyses.
