摘要：A brand new design of integrated corrosion information system is introduced to meet the constantly increasing demands of material corrosion information. Two concepts, "general-purpose corrosion data model" and "public corrosion data ex-changing interface", are suggested to integrate a wide variety of corrosion data sources based on detailed analysis on characteristics of each source in order to promote the information sharing and data mining. The architecture of integrated corrosion information environment is blueprinted. The insight analysis is focused on 1) architecture of the system; 2) data flow and information sharing; 3) roles of system players and their interactions; 4) approaches to data integration. Several key issues are addressed in detail including coverage of data model, data source integration and mitigation, and data granularity from system performance and model acceptance points of view. At the end, the design and implementation ap-proach of general corrosion data model is presented based on cutting edge IT techniques.

摘要：With object oriented design/analysis, a general purpose corrosion data model (GPCDM) and a corrosion data markup language (CDML) are created to meet the increasing demand of multi-source corrosion data integration and sharing. "Cor- rosion data island" is proposed to model the corrosion data of comprehensiveness and self-contained. The island of tree-liked structure contains six first-level child nodes to characterize every important aspect of the corrosion data. Each first-level node holds more child nodes recursively as data containers. The design of data structure inside the island is intended to decrease the learning curve and break the acceptance barrier of GPCDM and CDML. A detailed explanation about the role and meaning of the first-level nodes are presented with examples chosen carefully in order to review the design goals and requirements proposed in the previous paper. Then, CDML tag structure and CDML application programming interface (API) are introduced in logic order. At the end, the roles of GPCDM, CDML and its API in the multi-source corrosion data integration and information sharing are highlighted and projected.

摘要：corrosion in complex coupling environments is an important issue in corrosion field, because it is difficult to take into account a large number of environment factors and their interactions. Design of Experiment(DOE) can present a methodology to deal with this difficulty, although DOE is not commonly spread in corrosion field. Thus, modeling corrosion of Ni-Cr-Mo-V steel in deep sea environment was performed in order to provide example demonstrating the advantage of DOE. In addition, an artificial neural network mapping using back-propagation method was developed for Ni-Cr-Mo-V steel such that the ANN model can be used to predict polarization curves under different complex sea environments without experimentation. Furthermore, roles of environment factors on corrosion of Ni-Cr-Mo-V steel in deep sea environment were discussed.

摘要：Understanding the influence of purities on the electrochemical performance of pure aluminum(Al)in alkaline media for Al–air batteries is ***,we comprehensively investigate secondary phase precipitate(SPP)-induced localized corrosion of pure Al in NaOH solution mainly based on quasi-in-situ and cross-section observations under scanning electron microscopy coupled with finite element *** experimental results indicate that Al–Fe SPPs appear as clusters and are coherent with the Al *** alkaline media,Al–Fe SPPs exhibit more positive potentials than the substrate,thus aggravating localized galvanic corrosion as cathodic ***,finite element simulation indicates that the irregular geometry coupled with potential difference produces the non-uniform current density distribution inside the SPP cluster,and the current density on the Al substrate gradually decreases with distance.

摘要：Porous Ni3Al intermetallics were fabricated by elemental powder reactive synthesis method, using carbamide powders as space holders. corrosion behavior of porous Ni3Al intermetallics was investigated in a 6 mol/L KOH solution using electrochemical methods and immersion test. Effect of porous structures on the corrosion behavior of the porous Ni3Al intermetallics was studied. The results indicate that the porous Ni3Al intermetallics with higher porosities suffer more serious corrosion than the ones with lower porosities because the complicated interconnected porous structures and the large true surface areas exist in the samples with a higher porosity. But the corrosion rates of the porous Ni3Al intermetallics are not proportional to the true surface areas. The reason is that the pore size, pore size distribution and pore shape of the porous Ni3Al intermetallics change with the increasing porosity. All the porous Ni3Al intermetallics with different porosities exhibit excellent corrosion resistance in a strong alkali solution.

摘要：To better understand the role of dissolved oxygen(DO) in affecting corrosion behavior of zirconium alloys,the Zr-0.85 Sn-0.16 Nb-0.37 Fe-0.18 Cr(wt.%) alloy was corroded in super-heated steam at 500℃ and 10.3 MPa under 1×10-6 DO and deaeration *** microstructure of the alloy and oxide films was investigated by SEM,TEM,EDS and *** show that the corrosion is aggravated under 1×10-6 *** with the deaeration condition,the oxide film is looser,and has more micro-cracks and more uneven inner surface under DO *** the oxide film forming under deaeration condition,the selected area diffraction(SAED) spots of planes(002)m,■ and(101)t are strong,while those of the(001)m and■ are ***,for the oxide film forming under DO condition,the SAED spots of planes(111)m,(200)m and(101)t are strong,while those of the(100)m and(110)m are *** higher DO content in super-heated steam accelerates the growth of oxide films,thus decreasing the corrosion resistance of zirconium alloys.

摘要：The inhibition of copper corrosion by acid extract of Gnetum africana was studied using weight loss method of monitoring corrosion rate. The inhibition of Gnetum africana on copper corrosion was optimized by application of 23 factorial design. While the interactive effects of temperature, inhibition concentration and reaction time were investigated, the input factors and output response were also optimized. Optimum conditions for inhibition of Gnetum africana on copper corrosion were recorded at temperature of 303 K, reaction time of 24 h and inhibition concentration of 0.003 g/L. It could be concluded that factorial design was adequately applicable in the optimization of process variables and that Gnetuma africana sufficiently inhibited the corrosion of copper at the conditions of the experiment.

摘要：Titanium was used in the present work as the test metal for the first ultrasonic corrosion anodization (UCA) study, because of its important photonics and biomedical applications. The electrochemical cell design was implemented and tested under various experimental conditions combinations (e.g. electrolyte concentration, duration, temperature, ultra-sound presence or absence, oxygen presence, etc) in order to investigate the effect of those parameters in the cracks propagation in Ti-foils. It was found that an increase of cracks takes place when oxygen is provided in the electrolyte solution and when ultrasound is applied. The results presented in the current study could be exploitable towards design of materials having dendritic morphologies, applicable in a wide range of processes from photovoltaics to biocompatible materials.
