摘要：This paper considers the parameter estimation and stabilization of an unstable one-dimen- sional wave equation with matched general harmonic disturbance at the controlled end. The back- stepping method for infinite-dimensional system is adopted in the design of the adaptive regulator. It is shown that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable. 摘要：The motivation of this work is to obtain single PI/PID tuning formula for different types of processes with enhanced disturbance rejection performance. The proposed tuning formula consistently gives better performance in comparison to several well-known methods at the same degree of robustness for stable, integrating and unstable processes. For the selection of the closed-loop time constant(τc), a guideline is provided over a broad range of time-delay/time-constant ratios on the basis of the peak of maximum sensitivity(Ms). An analysis has been performed for the uncertainty margin with the different process parameters for the robust controller design. It gives the guideline of the Ms-value settings for the PI controller designs based on the process parameters uncertainty. Furthermore, a relationship has been developed between Ms-value and uncertainty margin with the different process parameters(k, τ and θ). Simulation study has been conducted for the broad class of processes and the controllers are tuned to have the same degree of robustness by measuring the maximum sensitivity, Ms, in order to obtain a reasonable comparison.

摘要：In this paper, we present a design method based on the concept of equivalent input disturbance （EID） to reject disturbances for a linear time-invariant system. A generalized state observer （GSO） is used to estimate an EID of the external disturbances, and the pole-assignment algorithm is employed to select the matrices of the GSO. Simulation and experimental results of a rotational speed control system demonstrate the validity of our method.

摘要：The paper addresses the problem of reconciling the modern control paradigm developed by R. Kalman in the sixties of the past century, and the centenary error-based design of the proportional, integrative and derivative （PID） controllers. This is done with the help of the error loop whose stability is proved to be necessary and sufficient for the close-loop plant stability. The error loop is built by cascading the uncertain plant-to-model discrepancies （causal, parametric, initial state, neglected dynamics）, which are driven by the design model output and by arbitrary bounded signals, with the control unit transfer functions. The embedded model control takes advantage of the error loop and its equations to design appropriate algorithms of the modern control theory （state predictor, control law, reference generator）, which guarantee the error loop stability and performance. A simulated multivariate case study shows modeling and control design steps and the coherence of the predicted and simulated performance.

摘要：Existing active magnetic bearings （AMBs） operate in the linear region of the magnetic material flux density, which limits the utilization of the bearing capacity. In order to increase the utilization of the bearing capacity and enhance the performance of the AMB system, this paper develops a method for designing high performance linear feedback laws. The resulting feedback laws allow the AMB to operate in its nonlinear region and hence improve the closed-loop performance. We first establish an approximate nonlinear AMB current force response model, and place this nonlinear curve inside a sector formed by two piecewise linear lines. Based on the linear line segments in these two piecewise linear lines, we determine the maximum disturbance that can be tolerated by solving an optimization problem with linear matrix inequality （LMI） constraints. For a given level of disturbance under the maximum tolerable disturbance, we formulate and solve the problem of designing the linear feedback that achieves the highest level of disturbance rejection as another LMI problem. Both g2 disturbances and g disturbances are considered. Finally, we illustrate our design by both simulation and experimental results.

摘要：This paper considers the problem of disturbance tolerance/rejection of a switched system resulting from a family of linear systems subject to actuator saturation and E-infinity disturbances. For a given set of linear feedback gains, a given switching scheme and a given bound on the E-infinity norm of the disturbances, conditions are established, in terms of linear or bilinear matrix inequalities, under which a set of a certain form is invariant for a given switched linear system in the presence of actuator saturation and E-infinity disturbances, and the closed-loop system possesses a certain level of disturbance rejection capability. With these conditions, the design of feedback gains and switching scheme can be formulated and solved as constrained optimization problems. disturbance tolerance is measured by the largest bound on the disturbances for which the trajectories starting from a given set remain bounded. disturbance rejection is measured either by the E-infinity norm of the system output or by the system＇s ability to steer its state into and/or keep it within a small neighborhood of the origin. In the event that all systems in the family are identical, the switched system reduces to a single system under a switching feedback law. Simulation results show that such a single system under a switching feedback law could have stronger disturbance tolerance/rejection capability than a single linear feedback law can.

摘要：A new consistency control method for jet dispensing is proposed. First, the working parameters, namely, viscosity, supply pressure and supply time, are experimentally investigated. Then, the glue viscosity is approximated by a polynomial model using the least square method. Based on this model and temperatme control implemented using the Dahlin principle, the viscosity of the glue can be maintained at a constant value. Then, the viscosity model of the glue is applied to deriving the droplet mass as the nominal model of the temperature controller. The robustness of the temperature controller is analyzed by applying the small gain theory. The glue supply pressure controller is designed using the consistency control strategy, and the robustness is analyzed. Finall）, simulations and experiments are conducted using a jet dispensing control system. The results show that the proposed control strategy can significantly improve the droplet consistency.

摘要：The problem of designing a feedback controller to achieve asymptotic disturbance rejection / attenuation while maintaining good transient response in the RTAC system is known as a benchmark nonlinear control problem, which has been an intensive research subject since 1995. In this paper, we will further investigate the solvability of the robust disturbance rejection problem of the RTAC system by the measurement output feedback control based on the robust output regulation method. We have obtained a design by overcoming two major obstacles: find a closed-form solution of the regulator equations; and devise a nonlinear internal model to account for non-polynomial nonlinearities.
