摘要：Differences and similarities of durability design for concrete bridges in Chinese-code and Eurocode are identified and discussed. Exposure environment classes and regulations of the minimum concrete cover and strength of the two codes are compared and analyzed. Numerical calculations for predicting the durable life of bridges related to carbonization and chlorides corrosion （marine and de-icing） are conducted. The results show that provisions in the two codes can satisfy the durability requirements under carbonization whereas they cannot guarantee the durability for bridges in spray and splash zones. Enhancing the waterproof capacity and reducing the frequent use of de-icing agents are vital to improving the bridge durability. Some recommendations for upgrading the durability are also included.

摘要：This paper work aims to response the request for immediate intervention of cultural heritage preservation in Kosovo, with the aim of protection against the harmful consequences of insufficient knowledge leading to a misuse of technology and to ill-considered approaches. The DGT （dwelling-garret type） is an important vernacular study case. The DGT is a historic building of 18th century, located in the core of Lebusha Village, Municipality of Peja, an architectural construction characterized by two concentric volumes at rectangular layout, very dynamic at horizontal composition, obtained by the movement of two differently constructional materials volumes, stone masonry and timber assembly, and covered with roof clay tiles. In view of its esthetic and artistic values, its important role at developing chain of Kosovo＇s rural dwellings typology, and its method of construction, the building should be listed as a monument under state protection. Hence, immediate protection interventions, such as conservation of wooden and stone envelope, improvement of walls and finish works, and drainage infrastructure, are considered as the minimum requirement.

摘要：Alloying Pt with transition metals can significantly improve the catalytic properties for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).However,the application of Pt-transition metal alloys in fuel cells is largely limited by poor long-term durability because transition metals can easily *** this study,we developed a nonmetallic doping approach and prepared a P-doped Pt catalyst with excellent durability for the ***-supported core-shell nanoparticles with a P-doped Pt core and Pt shell(denoted as PtPx@Pt/C)were synthesized via heat-treatment phosphorization of commercial Pt/C,followed by acid *** analysis using electron energy loss spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy clearly demonstrated that Pt was enriched in the near-surface region(approximately 1 nm)of the carbon-supported core-shell *** to P doping,the ORR specific activity and mass activity of the PtP_(1.4)@Pt/C catalyst were as high as 0.62 mA cm^(–2)and 0.31 mAμgPt–^(1),respectively,at 0.90 V,and they were enhanced by 2.8 and 2.1 times,respectively,in comparison with the Pt/C *** importantly,PtP_(1.4)@Pt/C exhibited superior stability with negligible mass activity loss(6%after 30000 potential cycles and 25%after 90000 potential cycles),while Pt/C lost 46%mass activity after 30000 potential *** high ORR activity and durability were mainly attributed to the core-shell nanostructure,the electronic structure effect,and the resistance of Pt nanoparticles against aggregation,which originated from the enhanced ability of the PtP_(1.4)@Pt to anchor to the carbon *** study provides a new approach for constructing nonmetal-doped Pt-based catalysts with excellent activity and durability for the ORR.

摘要：Drainage layers provide permanent relief of hydrostatic water pressure, while the waterproof liner prevents any ingress of water into the tunnel. The durability and aging resistance of drainage membranes are of primary concern. This paper describes advantages and concerns related to the usage of, and the design with, polymeric drainboards in tunnel construction. Common degradation mechanisms associated with HDPE （high density polyethylene） sheets are described. The stringent requirements for the Gotthard Alpine Railway Tunnel through the Swiss Alps, e.g., high ambient temperatures of up to 45 ℃ and an expected service life of up to 100 years require outstanding aging resistance of polymeric drainage materials. The paper describes the methods deployed to investigate the long-term performance of HDPE drainboards, focusing on aging mechanisms. Details associated with the test procedures developed to reflect the specific properties of drainboards, as well as the results obtained, are presented. A summary table shows recommended product specifications needed to confine the aging properties of drainboards and to design a system performing adequately during the entire lifetime of the structure.

摘要：In order to study the influence of parameters on durability of marine concrete structures, the parameter＇s sensitivity analysis was studied in this paper. With the Fick＇s 2nd law of diffusion and the deterministic sensitivity analysis method （DSA）, the sensitivity factors of apparent surface chloride content, apparent chloride diffusion coefficient and its time dependent attenuation factor were analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the impact of design variables on concrete durability was different. The values of sensitivity factor of chloride diffusion coefficient and its time dependent attenuation factor were higher than others. Relative less error in chloride diffusion coefficient and its time dependent attenuation coefficient induces a bigger error in concrete durability design and life prediction. According to probability sensitivity analysis （PSA）, the influence of mean value and variance of concrete durability design variables on the durability failure probability was studied. The results of the study provide quantitative measures of the importance of concrete durability design and life prediction variables. It was concluded that the chloride diffusion coefficient and its time dependent attenuation factor have more influence on the reliability of marine concrete structural durability. In durability design and life prediction of marine concrete structures, it was very important to reduce the measure and statistic error of durability design variables.

摘要：Using density functional theory （DFT） calculations, we rationally designed metallic nanocatalysts with ternary transition metals for oxygen reduction reactions （ORRs） in fuel cell applications. We surrounded binary core-shell nanoparticles with a Pt skin layer. To overcome surface segregation of the core 3-d transition metal, we identified the binary alloy Cu0.76Ni0.24 as having strongly attractive atomic interactions by computationally screening 158 different alloy configurations using energy convex hull theory. The PtskinCu0.76Ni0.24 nanoparticle showed better electrochemical stability than pure Pt nanoparticles -3 nm in size. We propose that the underlying mechanism originates from favorable compressive strain on Pt for ORR catalysis and atomic interactions among the nanoparticle shells for electrochemical stability. Our results will contribute to accurate identification and innovative design of promising nanomaterials for renewable energy systems.

摘要：A four-function principle was proposed for the optimization design of green high performance massive concrete（GHPMC）based on the theory of value engineering and the adiabatic temperature change control.A set of concrete formulas were designed according to the orthogonal *** experimental results were analyzed by applying the variance analysis method to find out the effects of influential factors and determine the optimum mixture *** addition,the four-function principle was successfully applied to optimize the mixture formula in field massive concrete *** practical results show the adiabatic temperature change of massive concrete could be efficiently controlled,and the excellent durability,good workability and high compressive strength could be achieved.
