摘要：Complex coupling problems have been existing in electromechanical systems. According to the principles of fractal geometry, an electromechanical system was to be resolved into some simple subsystems that can be easily described and solved. Pattern recognition theory was applied to recognize the most probable solution space. Multipletarget decision method was used to synthesize the fractal solutions of a system. A kind of fractalconcurrentsynthetic design strategy, and some decoupling optimum techniques were suggested in the article.

摘要：This article presents a generalization of the standard art gallery problem to the case where the sides of the gallery are continuous curves which are limits of polygonal arcs. The allowable limiting processes for such generalized art galleries are defined. We construct an art gallery in which one side is the Koch fractal and the other sides are three sides of a rectangle. The appropriate measure of coverage by guards is not the total number of guards but, rather, the guards-to-side ratio. We compute this ratio for the cases of shallow and deep versions of the Koch fractal art gallery.

摘要：By combining fractal theory with D-S evidence theory, an algorithm based on the fusion of multi-fractal features is presented. fractal features are extracted, and basic probability assignment function is designed. Comparison and simulation are performed on the new algorithm, the old algorithm based on single feature and the algorithm based on neural network. Results of the comparison and simulation illustrate that the new algorithm is feasible and valid.

摘要：A major concern in modern smart-phones and hand-held devices is a way of mitigating the time interval error (TIE) perceived at high-speed digital transits along the traces of the circuit-board (rigid and or flexible) used in baseband infrastructures. Indicated here is a way of adopting a planar fractal inductor configuration to improvise the necessary time-delay in the transits of digital signal phase jitter and reduce the TIE. This paper addresses systematic design considerations on fractal inductor geometry commensurate with practical aspects of its implementation as delaylines in the high-speed digital transports at the baseband operations of smart-phone infrastructures. Experimental results obtained from a test module are presented to illustrate the efficacy of the design and acceptable delay performance of the test structure commensurate with the digital transports of interest.

摘要：Digital imaging techniques have enabled to gain insight into complex structure-functional processes involved in the neo-cortex maturation and in brain development, already recognized in anatomical and histological preparations. Despite such a refined technical progress most diagnostic records sound still elusive and unreliable because of use of conventional morphometric approaches based on a unique scale of measure, inadequate for investigating irregular cellular components and structures which shape nervous and brain tissues. Instead, these could be efficiently analyzed by adopting principles and methodologies derived from the fractal Geometry. Through his masterpiece, The fractal Geometry of Nature [1], Benoît Mandelbrot has provided a novel epistemological framework for interpreting the real life and the natural world as they are, preventing whatever approximation or subjective sight. Founded upon a body of well-defined laws and coherent principles, the fractal Geometry is a powerful tool for recognizing and quantitatively describing a good many kinds of complex shapes, living forms, organized patterns, and morphologic features long range correlated with a broad network of functional interactions and metabolic processes that contribute to building up adaptive responses making life sustainable. Scale free dynamics characterized biological systems which develop through the iteration of single generators on different scales thus preserving proper self-similar traits. In the last decades several studies have contributed to showing how relevant may be the recognition of fractal properties for a better understanding of brain and nervous tissues either in healthy conditions or in altered and pathological states.

摘要：A new ultawideband circular fractal antenna with notched-band characteristics is presented. A notched-band characteristic is achieved by employing a U-shape slot in 50 Ω feed lines. The ultra-wideband impedance matching and compact size have been obtained by using CPW-feed technique and the fractal concept. The measured result of proposed fractal antenna exhibits the ultra wideband characteristics from 3.0 to 18.0 GHz at VSWR 2:1 except notched-band frequency. The proposed antenna has been analyzed theoretically and experimentally with respect to design parameters. The measured radiation pattern of fractal antenna is nearly omnidirectional in azimuth plane throughout the operating frequency. This antenna is useful for UBW communication system.

摘要：Based on the study of the process in which Sierpinski Gasket, a typical fractal, is constructed in 3D space, a new method of visualizing fractal is presented in this article. The image of the fractal is built in screen space, and, by utilizing existing techniques for visualizing traditional geometric objects, the real effectiveness of image can be obtained.
