摘要：As a core part of the electronic warfare(EW) system,de-interleaving is used to separate interleaved radar signals. The de-interleaving algorithm based on the fuzzy adaptive resonance theory(fuzzy ART) is plagued by the problems of premature saturation and performance improving dilemma. This study proposes a dual fuzzy vigilance ART(DFV-ART) algorithm to address these problems and make the following improvements. Firstly, a correction method is introduced to prevent the network from prematurely saturating;then, the fuzzy vigilance models(FVM) are constructed to replace the conventional vigilance parameter, reducing the error probability in the overlapping region;finally, a dual vigilance mechanism is introduced to solve the performance improving dilemma. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm could improve the clustering accuracy(quantization error dropped60%) and the de-interleaving performance(clustering quality increased by 10%) while suppressing the excessive proliferation of categories.

摘要：In this paper, a hybrid fuzzy Neural Network (FNN) system for function approximation is presented. The proposed FNN can handle numeric and fuzzy inputs simultaneously. The numeric inputs are fuzzified by input nodes upon presentation to the network while the fuzzy rule based knowledge is translated directly into network architecture. The connections between input to hidden nodes represent rule antecedents and hidden to output nodes represent rule consequents. All the connections are represented by Gaussian fuzzy sets. The method of activation spread in the network is based on a fuzzy mutual subsethood measure. Rule (hidden) node activations are computed as a fuzzy inner product. For a given numeric o fuzzy input, numeric outputs are computed using volume based defuzzification. A supervised learning procedure based on gradient descent is employed to train the network. The model has been tested on two different approximation problems: sine-cosine function approximation and Narazaki-Ralescu function and shows its natural capability of inference, function approximation, and classification.

摘要：Trial and error method can be used to find a suitable design of a fuzzy controller. However, there are many options including fuzzy rules, Membership Functions (MFs) and scaling factors to achieve a desired performance. An optimiza-tion algorithm facilitates this process and finds an optimal design to provide a desired performance. This paper presents a novel application of the Bacterial Foraging Optimization algorithm (BFO) to design a fuzzy controller for tracking control of a robot manipulator driven by permanent magnet DC motors. We use efficiently the BFO algorithm to form the rule base and MFs. The BFO algorithm is compared with a Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (PSO). Performance of the controller in the joint space and in the Cartesian space is evaluated. Simulation results show superiority of the BFO algorithm to the PSO algorithm.

摘要：A novel constant force feedback mechanism based on fuzzy logic for tapping mode Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM) is proposed in this paper. A mathematical model for characterizing the cantilever-sample interaction subsystem which is nonlinear and contains large uncertainty is first developed. Then, a PID-like fuzzy controller, combing a PD-like fuzzy controller and a PI controller, is designed to regulate the controller efforts and schedule the applied voltage of the Z-axis of the piezoelectric tube scanner to maintain a constant tip-sample interaction force during sample-scanning. Using the PID-like fuzzy controller allows the cantilever tip to track sample surface rapidly and accurately even though the topography of the surface is arbitrary and not given in advance. This rapid tracking response facilitates us to observe samples with high aspect ratio micro structures accurately and quickly. Besides, the overshoot which will result in tip crash in commercial AFMs with a traditional PID controller could be avoided. Additionally, the controller efforts can be intelligently scheduled by using the fuzzy logic. Thus, continuous manual gain-tuning by trial and error such as those in commercial AFMs is alleviated. In final, computer simulations and experimental verifications are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and confirm the validity of the proposed controller.

摘要：Brain-like computer research and development have been growing rapidly in recent years. It is necessary to design large scale dynamical neural networks (more than 106 neurons) to simulate complex process of our brain. But such kind of task is not easy to achieve only based on the analysis of partial differential equations, especially for those complex neural models, e.g. Rose-Hindmarsh (RH) model. So in this paper, we develop a novel approach by combining fuzzy logical designing with Proximal Support Vector Machine Classifiers (PSVM) learning in the designing of large scale neural networks. Particularly, our approach can effectively simplify the designing process, which is crucial for both cognition science and neural science. At last, we conduct our approach on an artificial neural system with more than 108 neurons for haze-free task, and the experimental results show that texture features extracted by fuzzy logic can effectively increase the texture information entropy and improve the effect of haze-removing in some degree.

摘要：Smart grid design and structures are somehow depending on the way of designing and operating Microgrids. In this research a unique design of microgrid is proposed as in medium tension isolated power distribution system contains diesel generation unit and photovoltaic generation. Storage system is a part of the control strategy to reduce the diesel usage and to maintain the balance between generation and demand which might be disturbed due to the presence of PV system. fuzzy logic control scheme has been chosen compared with conventional controller to be the main controller for both the diesel unit and storage system. Promising result has been found by digital simulation using Matlab Simulink proving the possibility of reducing the dependency on fossil fueled generators and increase the utilization of renewable energy.

摘要：In the background of the design and construction of Smart Grid Operation Supporting System for District Power Networks, this paper established the weighted fault probability model of the overhead line which is based on equipment operating status, utility theory and fuzzy theory. In this model, the proper membership function is adopted to describe the influence of lightning, wind speed, line ice and temperature, and the outage rate of overhead line, derived from historical statistics, is amended. Based on this model, the power supply risk analysis software is developed to calculate the online risk indicators of district grid, and provide real-time decision support information based on risk theory for scheduling operations personnel.
