摘要：A type of millimeter-wave antenna array with flexible design is proposed for a variety of applications at 60 *** antenna array can be adjusted to be linearly or circularly polarized by simply changing the radiation part of the antenna *** gain,wideband,and high radiation efficiency characteristics can be achieved by adopting a low insertion loss feeding network and broadband antenna *** the linearly polarized antenna array,simulation results show that the impedance bandwidth of the 2×2 antenna subarray reaches 21.6%,while the maximum gain achieves 15.1 dBi and has a fluctuation of less than 0.4 dBi within the working *** results of the 8×8 linearly polarized antenna array show a bandwidth of 21.6%and a gain of(26.1±1)dBi with an antenna efficiency of more than 80%.For the 8×8 circularly polarized antenna array,simulation results show that an impedance bandwidth of 18.2%and an axial ratio(AR)bandwidth of 13.3%are *** and efficiency of up to 27.6 dBi and 80%are achieved,respectively.A prototype of antenna array is fabricated,and results are compared and analyzed.

摘要：The 60-ghz traveling-wave tube （TWT） prevails nowadays as the amplifier for the satellite communication and electronic countermeasures. The folded waveguide （FW） is a promising all-metal slow-wave structure （SWS） for the 60-ghz TWT with advantages of robust performance, fine heat dissipation, considerable power and bandwidth. A novel FW periodically loaded with rectangular grooves is analyzed for the purpose of gaining higher power and gain. The rf characteristics are investigated by numerical simulation, and the nonlinear large- signal performance of such a TWT is analyzed by a 3I） particle-in-cell code MAGIC. Compared with normal circuits, relatively higher continuous-wave power （40-56 W） and similar bandwidth （5 ghz） are predicted by simulation. Meanwhile, the designed operation voltage is 10.5 kV, which keeps the low-voltage advantage of the popular helix TWT competitor. The novel FW will favor the design of a broadband and high-power 60-ghz TWT

摘要：The design and optimization of a self-complementary two-arm Archimedean spiral antenna backed by an absorptive cavity were presented. Parametric studies on the proposed antenna structure were carried out by using CST MWS. Simulation results show that the proper choice of spiral turns and cavity depth can miniaturize the dimensions of the cavity-backed spiral antenna presented here. According to simulation results, prototype antennas operating in the 6 12 ghz band are fabricated and the dimension of the proposed cavity-backed spiral antenna is 22 mm (diameter)×15 mm (height). The performance of the proposed antenna was measured and compared with the simulation results. It is shown that the experimental results are consistent with the theoretical predictions and the suggested antenna is good enough to adapt for various wideband applications.

摘要：With more than 40 years Moore scaling, the speed of CMOS transistors is around 100 ghz. Such fact makes it possible to realize mm-wave circuits in CMOS. However, with the target of achieving broadband and power-efficient operation, 60 ghz CMOS RF transceiver faces severe challenges. After reviewing the technology issues, regarding the 60 ghz applications, this paper discusses design challenges both from the system and the building block levels, and also presents some simulated or measured circuits results.

摘要：This study focused on differences in vehicle-to-vehicle radio channel characteristics in the same region but different traffic density and speeds at 5.9 ghz(congestion and non-congestion). The continuous measurement campaign was conducted on a city expressway through the complex dense urban area in Wuhan, China. Small-scale channel characteristics including power delay profile, amplitude fading distribution, K-factor, delay spread and Doppler shift were obtained, respectively. Specifically, the cumulative distribution function of root mean square delay spreads and root mean square Doppler spreads in the non-congested scenario and congested scenario were all fitted well with Lognormal distribution. We also found out that different intensity of traffic and speed of vehicles have little effect on root mean square delay spreads, but have a big impact on root mean square Doppler spreads and level crossing rate. According to estimation outcomes, the V2 V channel characteristics for urban areas in Chinese big city were different from the previous measured results under similar scenarios in Europe. Delay spread and level crossing rate in this study can provide significant references to design the wireless communication system for vehicle-to-vehicle channel.

摘要：A 25-channel 200 ghz arrayed waveguide grating(AWG) based on Si nanowire waveguides is designed, simulated and fabricated. Transfer function method is used in the simulation and error analysis of AWG with width fluctuations. The 25-channel 200 ghz AWG exhibits central channel insertion loss of 6.7 dB, crosstalk of-13 dB, and central wavelength of 1 560.55 nm. The error analysis can explain the experimental results of 25-channel 200 ghz AWG well. By using deep ultraviolet lithography(DUV) and inductively coupled plasma etching(ICP) technologies, the devices are fabricated on silicon-on-insulator(SOI) substrate.

摘要：This paper presents a compact triple-band bandpass filter based on metamaterials. The miniaturization is realized by the principle of phase compensation of metamaterial. Compared with the conventional half-wavelength filter, the metamaterial filter has a small size of 10 mm×10 mm. The triple-band bandpass filter performance has been validated by the electromagnetic simulation software of high frequency structure simulator(HFSS). The results illustrate that the filter is designed with center frequencies of 2.4 ghz, 5.1 ghz and 8.8 ghz, bandwidths of about 7.9%(2.31—2.50 ghz), 7.8%(5.0—5.4 ghz) and 7.4%(8.50—9.15 ghz), respectively, and it shows good band pass characteristics.

摘要：A wideband dual-feedback low noise amplifier(LNA) was analyzed, designed and implemented using SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistor(HBT) technology. The design analysis in terms of gain, input and output matching, noise and poles for the amplifier was presented in detail. The area of the complete chip die, including bonding pads and seal ring, was 655 μm×495 μm. The on-wafer measurements on the fabricated wideband LNA sample demonstrated good performance: a small-signal power gain of 33 dB with 3-dB bandwidth at 3.3 ghz was achieved;the input and output return losses were better than-10 dB from 100 MHz to 4 ghz and to 6 ghz, respectively; the noise figure was lower than 4.25 dB from 100 MHz to 6 ghz; with a 5 V supply, the values of OP1 dB and OIP3 were1.7 dBm and 11 dBm at 3-dB bandwidth, respectively.
