摘要：This paper presents a real-time battery management unit designed by applying the Coulomb counting method and intended for use in an integrated renewable energy system for PV-hybrid power supply. Battery management is required to stabilize hybrid systems and extend battery lifetimes. The battery management unit is divided into three main stages. Firstly, analysis of the basic components of the battery type used in the system is considered. Secondly, the state of charge (SOC) estimation method and the deterioration factor of the battery are analyzed. Finally, the overall battery management system, including a computer-based measurement and control unit, is constructed. The control system displays real-time information through LabVIEW 8.5 by estimating the state of charge through various measurements. The system will issue alerts when malfunctions are detected, and the operator can analyze and react to the system in real time to stabilize the system and extend the battery lifetime.

摘要：This paper presents a modification of an existing cognitive antenna design which contains two antennas: one is a sensing that covers the band from 1 - 11 GHz and the other is a hybrid triangular reconfigurable antenna. Two antennas are combined together to create a new design which called Cognitive Antenna. The new shape of the reconfigurable antenna will affect the cognitive antenna so as to work at two different frequencies via rotation by 180°. At each rotation, the antenna takes single frequency from number of possible frequencies that sensing antenna would find.

摘要：Keying of lithium chloride alkali halide salt into the interlamellar space of nacrite clay mineral leads to a stable hybrid material that after calcination under inert atmosphere at 723 - 873 K induces an amorphous metahybrid. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was performed to investigate the electric/dielectric properties of the hybrid with various parameters: frequency and temperature. Equivalent circuit was proposed to fit the EIS data. The experiment results show that the ionic conduction mechanism is related to the motion of Li+ cations which are thermally activated, named the hopping model. Furthermore, the resulting metahybrid obtained from dehydroxylation of the formal hybrid shows a superionic behavior with high ionic conductivity up to 10﹣2 S·m﹣1, good electrochemical stability and can be used as a solid electrolyte material for Li-ion batteries.
