摘要：Scratch is a visual programming tools that is widely used in many lessons. While many of the lessons use thecoding features of Scratch, teachers may also use the interactive features in their lessons. In a course for in-serviceprimary school teachers, on the use of technology for the school-based learning and teaching, teachers had anexperience on how Scratch can be used to facilitate learning. Starting from no programming history, teachers spent3 hours each on 4 topics including Take-Away Model, The Four Operations, Divisibilities, and Area of SimpleFigures, via step-by-step procedures on setting up animations within the theme that would attract students, and withthe interaction responses such as text and sound, they successfully handled the use of Scratch and could design andmake their lessons perfectly to their students. While teachers suggest learning should be extended to the second andthe third classroom, with this easy-to-learn programming language, teachers could now facilitate learning ofstudents by the attractive school-based games, which focus on particular topics the teachers had selected.

摘要：Most of advertisement systems are presently still launch the publicity content by the static words and pictures. Recently, this static advertisement model will not be able to attract people’s attention more and more. Moreover, the static information content of advertisement system is limited because of the layout shown size. It can not also fully demonstrate the information content of advertisement system. In this paper, we develop a digital interactive kanban advertisement system using face recognition methodology to solve these problems. The system captures the person’s face through the camera. The digital advertisement content size is relevant by the person and camera observation locations. In this paper, we adopt the Adaboost algorithm to judge people face, and the system only need to grab the position of the face. The system doesn’t built expensive and complex equipment to reduce the system cost and enhance the system performance. This system can also achieve the same similar digital interactive advertising effectiveness.

摘要：A low cost service robot was designed and implemented specifically to be used in service industries e.g. hotels. This service robot can deliver a requested payload (towels, bed-sheets, drinks or toiletries) to a customer. As evident with modern technology, robots are assisting man in several avenues of the service industry. This designed service robot can propose an error free service, work around the clock and consume less time with requested tasks. The prototype can handle two commands received from two different rooms simultaneously. It has the ability to choose to always deliver to the closest room from its base first. Also, it has the function to carry two different types of payloads in two of its compartments and to lift up the desired payload ordered by the customer using a scissor lift system. The service robot also uses a touch screen to interact with the customer. The algorithm of the design ensures that the payload will always be delivered to the right customer in due time.

摘要：Reducing maternal and infant deaths’ rates in the developing countries, particularly in sub-Sahara Africa, remain a big challenge. Despite efforts by governments, the reductions have been unsatisfactory. To accelerate the reduction in maternal and infant deaths, m-health has been proposed as a viable, economical and effective intervention, able to reach the low income and disadvantaged groups. Mobile phone-based applications are among the m-health interventions that have been found to have positive outcomes for different healthcare challenges, such as improving clinical attendance and skilled delivery, and reducing perinatal mortality. However, the adoption of smartphone-based applications for health in Tanzania has been slow. Some of the likely contributing factors might be low technology exposure by the majority of the population and English language skills’ limitations. In this work, we developed a mobile application for providing interactive support to users, thus complementing other solutions available such as SMS and other smartphone apps. The main advantage of this app is the presence of interactive features that enable patient-provider communication. We adopted the Rapid application development (RAD) model for developing the application. We used UML modeling language tools for designing the application. The mobile application’s technical architecture uses various technologies and system development tools such as PHP programming language for the web application, MySQL database management system and Android Studio mobile application development platform.

摘要：Human computer interaction (HCI) and software engineering approaches are always taken into the account together in order to make the well-organized software. interactive design is the significant part of new media which has been proposed to the world for the past decades, and it is a very proficient technique. interactive maps add more dimensions of information;they become a more and more helpful tools and resources. This research clarifies the idea of how we can smooth the progress of presenting and communicating the essential information using interactive manner. The interactive map of Bangkok underground train and sky train navigation routes map was developed as the case study using user-centered design (UCD) methodology as the fundamental developing processes. The main objective of the work is to develop the friendly and usable web based software that reduce the confusion and help users save times. The software developing processes in this work tend to focus on the users. And also the essential idea of the research is to take the uses and gratification communication theory of the users into account with the intention of providing what user requires by finding the real users’ requirements. This means the user can control software according to their needs and software act or response according to user’s requests. The paper mentions the role of communication theory, human computer interaction, and user-centered design software developing.
