摘要：In this review paper, we introduce a self-phase controlled stimulated Brillouin scattering phase conjugate mirror(SCSBS-PCM) and the Kumgang laser. The SC-SBS-PCM was proposed and demonstrated its success at the academic low power level, ~100 mJ@10 Hz. The Kumgang laser is under development to verify whether the SC-SBS-PCM is operable at the k W level. It is a 4 kW beam combination laser combining four 1 k W beams using the SC-SBS-PCM. If the Kumgang laser functions successfully, it will be the most important step towards a Dream laser, a hypothetical laser with unlimited power and a high repetition rate.

摘要：Recently there has been great progress in laser-driven plasma-based accelerators by exploiting high-power lasers,where electron beams can be accelerated to multi-GeV energy in a centimeter-scale plasma due to the laser wakefield acceleration mechanism. While, to date, worldwide research on laser plasma accelerators has been focused on the creation of compact particle and radiation sources for basic sciences, medical and industrial applications, there is great interest in applications for high-energy physics and astrophysics, exploring unprecedented high-energy frontier phenomena. In this context, we present an overview of experimental achievements in laser plasma acceleration from the perspective of the production of GeV-level electron beams, and deduce the scaling formulas capable of predicting experimental results self-consistently, taking into account the propagation of a relativistic laser pulse through plasma and the accelerating field reduction due to beam loading. Finally, we present design examples for 10-GeV-level laser plasma acceleration, which is expected in near-term experiments by means of petawatt-class lasers.

摘要：Recently, intense research into laser plasma accelerators has achieved great progress in the production of high-energy,high-quality electron beams with Ge V-level energies in a cm-scale plasma. These electron beams open the door for broad applications in fundamental, medical, and industrial sciences. Here we present conceptual designs of an extreme ultraviolet radiation source for next-generation lithography and a laser Compton Gamma-beam source for nuclear physics research on a table-top scale.

摘要：This work is devoted to building-up of ultrahigh resolution cw-dye laser spectrometer system. This system used self-frequency-stabilized and temperature-compensated plano-confocal reference cavity. The one-way propagation is achieved using new construction of optical diode. The laser frequency selection and tuning is accomplished using Mach-Zehnder interferometer of free spectral range 42.5 GHz. In combination with computerized tunable radio frequency technique, this system is capable of a resolution of about ±1 KHz. Applications for measuring high lying, weakly occupied metastable states of free atoms (line 548.792 nm of V-51) are investigated to a high degree of accuracy. The results of the constants A and B of the hfs as measured by fluorescence spectroscopy show that A = 160.762 and B = -17.918, while the obtained results for the hfs constants A and B as measured by laser-RF double resonance technique give A = 160.9950 and B = -17.3358.

摘要：In measurement system by means of pulse laser, such as plasma measuring, laser ranging, the amplitude of echoed laser wave is very weak and difficult to detect by traditional analog electronic technology. A digital high speed data acquisition and processing system was designed to meet the accuracy requirement. It adopted high speed AD chip and advantage FPGA chip as core unit. Experiment results have verified this system can reach to 1GHz sample rate and can catch weak echo wave effectively and the measuring accuracy is improved markedly.

摘要：During the last two decades, various local thermal ablative techniques for the treatment of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) have been developed. According to internationally endorsed guidelines, percutaneous thermal ablation is the mainstay of treatment in patients with small HCC who are not candidates for surgical resection or transplantation. laser ablation(LA) represents one of currently available loco-ablative techniques. In this article, the general principles, technique, image guidance, and patient selection are reported. Primary effectiveness, long-term outcome, and complications are also discussed. A review of published data suggests that LA is equivalent to the more popular and widespread radiofrequency ablation in both local tumor control and long-term outcome in the percutaneous treatment of early HCC. In addition, the LA technique using multiple thin laser fibres allows improved ablative effectiveness in HCCs greater than 3 cm. Reference centres should be equipped with all the available techniques so as to be able to use the best and the most suitable procedure for each type of lesion for each patient.

摘要：A kind of erbium doped photosensitive fiber(EDPF) was proposed and fabricated,whose core was made of double layers named photosensitive layer and erbium doped *** double-layer core de-sign can overcome difficulties in fabrication of EDPF with single core design,*** conflict between the high consistency rare earth doping and high consistency germanium doping.A sample was fabri-cated through the modified chemical vapor deposition method combined with solution doping *** peak absorption coefficient was 48.80 dB/m at 1.53 μm,the background loss was lower than 0.1 dB/m,and the reflectivity of the fiber Brag gratings(FBG) written directly on the sample fiber was up to 97.3% by UV-writing ***,a C band tunable fiber laser was fabricated using the sample fiber,in which a uniform FBG was written directly on EDPFs as a reflector.A single wavelength lasing with a maximum wavelength tuning range of 1555.2―1558.0 nm was achieved *** this tuning range,the full-width at half maximum(FWHM) of the laser output was smaller than 0.015 nm and the side mode suppression ratio(SMSR) was better than 50 dB.
