摘要：EAST （Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak） is a tokamak with su- perconducting toroidal and poloidal magnets operated at 4.5 K. In order to reduce the thermal load applied on the surfaces of all cryogenically cooled components and keep the heat load of the cryogenic system at a minimum, a continuous radiation shield system located between the magnet system and warm components is adopted. The main loads to which the thermal shield system is subjected are gravity, seismic, electromagnetic and thermal gradients. This study employed NASTRAN and ANSYS finite element codes to analyze the stress under a spectrum of loading conditions and combinations, providing a theoretical basis for an optimization design of the structure.

摘要：This paper presents the underlying principle and the results of various performance evaluations for a load-measuring pot bearing with built-in load cell. The pot bearing composed of a pot made of steel in which an elastomer disk is inserted is a bearing supporting larger loads than the elastomeric bearing and accommodating rotational movement. Owing to a Poisson’s ratio close to 0.5, elastomer withstands hydrostatic pressure when confined in a rigid body. Accounting for this principle, the vertical load applied on the pot bearing can be obtained by converting the pressure acting on the elastomer. Therefore, a load-measuring pot bearing is developed in this study by embedding a load cell exhibiting remarkable durability in the base plate of the bearing. The details for the insertion of the load cell in the base plate of the pot were improved through finite element analysis to secure sufficient measurement accuracy. The evaluation of the static performance of the pot bearing applying these improved details verified that the bearing exhibited sufficient accuracy for the intended measurement purpose. The dynamic performance evaluation results indicated that accurate measurement of the dynamic load was also achieved without time lag.

摘要：The design and performance evaluation of a sustained load creep testing machine was undertaken in this research. The design was motivated by the need to make locally available, a cost effective, technically efficient, and easily operated creep testing facility;for creep behaviour studies of materials. Design drawings and purchase of materials and components for the design were undertaken after thorough evaluation of the following design and materials selection criteria: design principle and theory, local availability of raw materials and components required for the design, material properties, cost of materials and design, ease of utilization and maintenance, and basis of testing and data capture. The machine casing and frame, heating chamber (consisting of the furnace and a dual specimen mounting stage), load lever and hanger system, and the electro-technical components;were fabricated and coupled following the produced design specifications. The machine was tested and its performance was assessed using its heating efficiency, repeatability and reproducibity of experimental test results, maintainability and cost-effectiveness as criteria. It was observed from repeat tests that the machine has the capacity of generating reliable data for computing creep strain-time results. The efficiency and temperature regulating capacity of the heating unit of the machine were also observed to be very satisfactory. The cost of the design was about 112,000 Naira ($700.00) which is cheaper in comparison to similar commercial creep testing machines from abroad. The machine was also found not to pose maintenance or repairs challenges.

摘要：当较大波浪与结构物作用时会引起结构的高频响应,对结构安全构成极大威胁。该文通过物理模型实验,考虑了不同波浪参数和结构尺度,对极限规则波浪作用下直立圆柱结构的受力进行模拟,观测结构高频响应现象并分析其形成机理。实验中发现,当波陡超过一定临界值,波浪作用下结构受力会出现"secondaryloadcycle"现象,同时伴随高频响应现象发生。进一步针对"secondary load cycle"现象进行分析表明,"secondary load cycle"现象主要受波浪陡度影响,当波浪陡度(H/L)大于0.095tanh(kh)时,结构就会产生"secondary load cycle"现象;而且高频响应远高于波浪高阶成分,它并非由波浪与结构物非线性作用产生,而是结构的一种高频自振现象。该现象产生的机理是由于波浪经过结构产生较大涌高,涌高水体坠落对结构产生瞬时的挤压,进而造成了结构的高频振动。

摘要：目的运用科学方法合理优化运输方案。方法利用运输设计软件Cape Pack和load Expert,从运输包装物品的排列方式入手进行空间优化设计。结果听装运输包装尺寸为200 mm×300 mm×103 mm、PET瓶装运输包装尺寸为169 mm×173 mm×224 mm、冲剂袋装盒式运输包装尺寸为250 mm×568mm×166 mm时的组合运输更加经济。结论优化后的方案可节约运输货车的使用,提高配送效率,降低物流业运输配送的成本。

摘要：This study is a preparation phase for visualization of utilized information using ergonomic user interface and standardization of elements for anti-air radar screen. Therefore, we investigated the instances of anti-air radar screen for air defense weapon system for defense advanced country. Based on the collected data, we compared and analyzed the air defense weapon system radar screen design. In addition, we carry out a research for layout, configuration, standardization and design of the radar screen’s elements. Ultimately, it is essential to share a variety of battle field conditions such as enemy threat, enemy/friendly information, terrain information that can be effectively recognized. In this paper, we conduct case study for ergonomically development of automated/standardized radar screen. It is expected that this research improves the situational awareness and reduces the user’s task load.

摘要：Over the course of the past decade, power generation based on wind energy has become a significant component in modern power systems, which has caused substantial increase in the wind power based research. As it is complicated to use a real wind turbine for laboratory purposes, development of a replica of a real wind turbine that can be connected and used indoors is imperative. This paper presents the design and development of a wind turbine simulator that operates on the typical power-speed characteristics of a wind turbine. First, the mathematical model of the wind turbine simulator is developed and the corresponding CAD simulations are carried out. Proposed hardware implementations involve a DC motor-DC generator set, a variable load and a control system based on PI controllers. It is a simple, low power and low cost design that can be easily connected to an AC system through an inverter.

摘要：This paper presents a design for a stand-alone photovoltaic (PV) system to provide the required electricity for a single residential household in rural area in Jordan. The complete design steps for the suggested household loads are carried out. Site radiation data and the electrical load data of a typical household in the considered site are taken into account during the design steps. The reliability of the system is quantified by the loss of load probability. A computer program is developed to simulate the PV system behavior and to numerically find an optimal combination of PV array and battery bank for the design of stand-alone photovoltaic systems in terms of reliability and costs. The program calculates life cycle cost and annualized unit electrical cost. Simulations results showed that a value of loss of load probability LLP can be met by several combinations of PV array and battery storage. The method developed here uniquely determines the optimum configuration that meets the load demand with the minimum cost. The difference between the costs of these combinations is very large. The optimal unit electrical cost of 1 kWh for LLP = 0.049 is $0.293;while for LLP 0.0027 it is $0.402. The results of the study encouraged the use of the PV systems to electrify the remote sites in Jordan.

摘要：The DC-DC converters are widely used in photovoltaic generating systems as an interface between PV module and the load. These converters must be chosen to be able to match the maximum power point (MPP) of PV module when climatic conditions change with different resistive load values. So DC-DC converters must be used with MPPT controller in order to reduce losses in the global PV system. This article focuses on the effect of climatic conditions on design of two components (inductance, capacitance) for three topologies of DC-DC converters commonly used in PV systems. When climatic conditions change, the boundary of inductance and capacitance parameters of DC-DC converter will change. These two parameters must be properly sized to achieve optimal efficiency for each converter. The design optimization is based on two principles: 1) for a steady-state operation in a continuous conduction mode, the inductance value for all choppers must be greater than the maximum value of boundary inductance, and 2) in order to limit the output voltage ripple of DC-DC converter below a desired value, the filter capacitance must be larger than the maximum value of boundary capacitance.
