摘要：This paper investigates the optimal control problem arising in advertising model with delay. The authors reformulate the problem in Hilbert space by stochastic evolution equation and consider the optimal control problem of controlled stochastic evolution system. The necessary and sufficient optimality conditions of the control are established. The proposed approach is different from most existing studies of optimal advertising policy problem with delay. These results are applied to the optimal advertising policy problem under two different structures and the optimal advertising strategies are obtained.

摘要：optimal design is one of the most important issues in robots. Since the very beginning, the concepts of the Jacobian matrix, manipulability and condition number, which are used successfully in the field of serial robots, have been applied to parallel robots. Unlike serial robots, parallel robots are good for motion/force transmission. Their performance evaluation and design should be correspondingly dif- ferent. This paper is an attempt to optimally design a novel spatial three-degree-of-freedom (3-DOF) parallel robot by using the concept of motion/force transmission. Accordingly, three indices are defined. The suggested indices are independent of any coordinate frame and could be applied to the analysis and design of a parallel robot whose singularities can be identified wholly by using the relative angle between the output and adjacent links, and by using the relative angle between the input and adjacent links.

摘要：A theoretical model and mathematical description for silicon micromachined elec- trostatic or capacitive ultrasonic imaging transducers have been developed. Ac- cording to the model the basic performance parameters of such a transducer, such as natural frequencies, eigenfunctions, resonance and anti-resonance frequencies, and the mechanical impedance of the diaphragm can be predicted from the ge- ometry of the transducer and property parameters of materials used. The paper reveals that this type of transducers has two basic operation modes, correspond- ing to the resonance of a mass-spring oscillator comprised of the diaphragm and the air cushion, and the first-order bending mode of the diaphragm itself respec- tively, and presents an optimal method for extending the bandwidth by making the two modes coupled, and thereby provides a theoretical basis for the optimal de- sign.

摘要：The optimal process conditions of an injection molded polypropylenes dustpan were investigated to improve the part quality. A fractional factorial experiment was employed to screen the significant factors and main combinations among the numerous process parameters. And, with the consideration of interaction effects, an L27 orthogonal array based on the Taguchi method was conducted to determine the optimal process conditions. The results indicate that the melt temperature has the most remarkable influence on both the volume shrinkage and sink marks criterion weights. But the optimal process conditions and the order of influence are different for the two criterion weights.

摘要：The dynamic analysis and optimal design of reactive extraction are challenging due to high nonlinearity of model equations and tough decision of judging criteria. In this work, a dynamic rate-based method is developed on g PROMS platform to get easy access to the solutions of reactive extraction with phase splitting. Based on rigorous criteria, dynamic analysis from initial state to final equilibrium(e.g., evolution of phase composition, mass transfer rate and reaction rate) and optimal design of operating conditions(e.g., extractant dosage and feed molar ratio) are achieved. To illustrate the method, the esterification of n-hexyl acetate is taken as an example. The approach proves to be reliable in the analysis and optimization of the exemplified system, which provides instructive reference for further process design and simulation of reactive extraction.

摘要：Shape rolling is widely employed in the production of long workpieces with appropriate cross-section profiles for other industrial applications. In the development of shape rolling systems, roll pass design (RPD) plays an essential role on the quality control of products, service life of rolls, productivity of rolling systems, as well as energy consumption of rolling operations. This study attempts to establish a generic strategy based on hybrid modeling and an improved genetic algorithm, to support the optimizations of RPD and shape rolling operations at a systematic perspective. Objectives include improving the quality and efficiency of RPD, reducing energy consumption of shape rolling, as well as releasing the demands on costly trails and expert knowledge in RPD. Hybrid modeling based on cross-disciplinary knowledge is developed to overcome the limitations of isolated single-disciplinary models. And conventional genetic algorithm is improved for the implementation of optimal design. Targeting to integrate empirical data and published reliable solutions into optimizations, a parameters estimation method is proposed to transfer the initially misaligned models into a uniform pattern. A tool based on the Matlab platform is developed to demonstrate the optimal design operations, with case studies involved to validate the proposed methodology.
