摘要：Basic block is the foundation of clothing construction design because it is the media between body and clothes and the fitness of clothes should be based on the accuracy of basic block. That needs us to recognize body not to record it. This paper reports the Algorithm of woman body fuzzy pattern recognition. It is organized in three sections:(i) extracting woman body feature; (ii) establishing membership functions of feature indexes;(iii) presenting an Algorithm for woman body fuzzy pattern recognition by example.

摘要：This paper presents a novel approach for human identification at a distance using gait recognition. recognition of a person from their gait is a biometric of increasing interest. The proposed work introduces a nonlinear machine learning method, kernel Principal Component Analysis （PCA）, to extract gait features from silhouettes for individual recognition. Binarized silhouette of a motion object is first represented by four 1-D signals which are the basic image features called the distance vectors. Fourier transform is performed to achieve translation invariant for the gait patterns accumulated from silhouette sequences which are extracted from different circumstances. Kernel PCA is then used to extract higher order relations among the gait patterns for future recognition. A fusion strategy is finally executed to produce a final decision. The experiments are carried out on the CMU and the USF gait databases and presented based on the different training gait cycles.

摘要：This paper presents an anthropomorphic prosthetic hand using flexure hinges, which is controlled by the surface electromyography （sEMG） signals from 2 electrodes only. The prosthetic hand has compact structure with 5 fingers and 4 Degree of Freedoms （DoFs） driven by 4 independent actuators. Helical springs are used as elastic joints and the joints of each finger are coupled by tendons. The myoelectric control system which can classify 8 prehensile hand gestures is built. pattern recognition is employed where Mean Absolute Value （MAV）, Variance （VAR）, the fourth-order Autoregressive （AR） coefficient and Sample Entropy （SE） are chosen as the optimal feature set and Linear Discriminant Analysis （LDA） is utilized to reduce the dimension. A decision of hand gestures is generated by LDA classifier after the current projected feature set and the previous one are ＂pre-smoothed＂, and then the final decision is obtained when the current decision and previous decisions are ＂post-smoothed＂ from the decisions flow. The prosthetic hand can perform prehensile postures for activities of daily living and carry objects under the control of EMG signals.

摘要：This paper summarizes the research results dealing with washer and nut taxonomy and knowledge base design, making the use of fuzzy methodology. In particular, the theory of fuzzy membership functions, similarity matrices, and the operation of fuzzy inference play important roles.A realistic set of 25 washers and nuts are employed to conduct extensive experiments and *** investigation includes a complete demonstration of engineering design. The results obtained from this feasibility study are very encouraging indeed because they represent the lower bound with respect to performance, namely correctrecognition rate, of what fuzzy methodology can do. This lower bound shows high recognition rate even with noisy input patterns, robustness in terms of noise tolerance, and simplicity in hardware implementation. Possible future works are suggested in the conclusion.

摘要：A damage location method using multi-layer perceptron （MLP） is developed to diagnose the cable damage of a real long span cable-stayed bridge. Firstly, the damage patterns are defined based on dynamical calculation. The analysis of damage pattern reveals that the damage patterns caused by different damage locations have inherent distinctness, while the damage extent only linearly amplifies the damage pattern curves. And 4th, 6th and 7th order frequencies are canceled from the patterns because of their insensitiveness to cable damage. Then a MLP network is designed by trail-error method to describe the 7-D mapping space of damage pattern. Identification results prove that the properly organized MLP can grasp the damage pattern and identify the damage location.

摘要：A balancing method was used to build a DC partial discharge （PD） testing circuit for electrical equipment,and a narrow-band detection system was designed using detection resistance and a filter. After signal accessed a high-speed digital acquisition （DAQ） card,the system was triggered to extract a single partial discharge （PD） signal. To eliminate the interference pulses caused by power supply ripple,etc.,the time domain and frequency domain features of pulses were extracted. Based on the features,cluster analysis was used to exclude interference pulses. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional histograms were obtained by use of the Δt method. Then,22 discharge statistical operators were calculated for the two-dimensional charts. Lastly,the defective capacitors were tested to verify the system＇s ability. The results show that the system is capable of PD detection in electrical equipment.

摘要：Previously, a novel classifier called Kernel-based Nonlinear Discriminator (KND) was proposed to discriminate a pattern class from other classes by minimizing mean effect of the latter. To consider the effect of the target class, this paper introduces an oblique projection algorithm to determine the coefficients of a KND so that it is extended to a new version called extended KND (eKND). In eKND construction, the desired output vector of the target class is obliquely projected onto the relevant subspace along the subspace related to other classes. In addition, a simple technique is proposed to calculate the associated oblique projection operator. Experimental results on handwritten digit recognition show that the algorithm performes better than a KND classifier and some other commonly used classifiers.
