摘要：This study measures visual attention to examine the impact of banner ads on reading and information processing on the Web. Using a 2 × 3 experimental design, 120 students were randomly assigned to read a series of either short or long articles on webpages presented with no banner ads, a static banner ad, or an animated banner ad. Visual attention was recorded by an eye-tracking device. Results from our study show that when there is too little information presented on a Webpage with no banner ads, the readers might become less attentive to the paper, while a long paper presented with too many visual stimuli may overload viewers＇ cognitive capacity. While these findings are generally consistent with past research that compared the impact of static ads against animated ads, the addition of a control condition and the varying of article length in our study extended previous research by revealing more complex visual processing and cognitive processes.

摘要：reading and comprehension are critical intellectual skills which have to be mastered for any worthwhile academic engagement. However, the tendency to equate mere literacy to these skills has led many people to take the skills for granted. This paper addresses the issue of reading comprehension through a painstaking methodical exploration of the technicalities involved to aid a mastery of the art. It does so with practical examples which are useful for self-teaching on the part of learners.

摘要：目的探讨应用reading man皮瓣修复圆形或椭圆形创面的效果，并评价其优缺点。方法在非对称z瓣的基础上，共设计F1（三角皮瓣）、F2（矩形瓣）2个皮瓣，修复切除病变组织或清创后残留的0．8cm×0．8cm～9．0cm×8．0cm圆形或椭圆形创面。结果2008至2011年采用此法共修复32例，所设计的皮瓣均能完全覆盖创面，且无感染、无明显猫耳形成，仅有1例皮瓣发生面积小于5％局部坏死，经换药后自行愈合，5例切口延迟愈合，术后瘢痕均不明显。结论reading man皮瓣设计灵活，是修复圆形或椭圆形皮肤组织缺损的良好选择。

摘要：The transformational journey archetype begins long before literature in rites of initiation when a child undergoes a journey full of tests and temptations, perilous encounters in an underworld, and visions that transform the child into a member of a tribe. Before this archetype is translated by the written word into literature, the telling of the story is not just the account of something that happened long ago in the past, but an actual reenactment of the events for the audience. The journey archetype appears in the earliest example of literature, Homer＇s Odyssey, where Homer makes the readers both an observer and participant in the transformation. The journey does not always, as in rites of initiation, involve a child and occur only once in life. Instead, the journey may begin in death and trauma and involve a person who must resume that journey over again as an adult. Such is the fate of Aeneas in Virgil＇s Aeneid whose transformative journey begins with the burning towers of Troy. In these two early epics the heroes suffer the loss of an older world and must resume their pursuit of new identities in a new world after descending to a land of death or underworld to consult ancestor figures who prepare them for the transition to a new life, identity, and destiny. The reader of these works participates in the journeys the heroes undertake and learns to renew contact with the sources of life and consciousness in myth, magic, and vision. Dante＇s journey through the Inferno to his vision of God in Paradiso is a culmination of this transformative experience and vision, whose intent is to transform us as well through imaginative and intellectual participation in the journey. 摘要：In recent 10 years, teaching English newspaper reading for English majors in China has got rapid development. At the same time, social demand for college students＇ English newspaper reading ability has also improved. But the existing teaching effect of English newspaper reading course is not ideal. What is proposed in this paper is to apply the research-oriented teaching mode to the teaching of English newspaper reading and expound the three stages of pre-reading, reading, and after-reading respectively in order to subvert the teaching of reading class over which teachers dominate traditionally, to change the center of the double main bodies, to develop learners＇ intellectual and non-intellectual factors of comprehensive quality, and to improve their ability of discovering, researching, and solving the problems.

摘要：During the active process of reading, strategies involved will affect the process of reading comprehension, and the reader should intentionally regulate and control the reading process and adopt appropriate strategies to solve the problems during it. The purpose of this paper is to determine the use of metacognitive strategies in reading by the PE & Art majors through questionnaire. According to the result of the questionnaire, the PE & Art majors do use some metacognitive strategies in their reading, while nearly half of them do not often use metacognitive strategies in their reading. For this phenomenon, the author gives some constructive suggestions for the English majors about how to apply the metacognitive strategies in their reading: 1) preparing and planning in pre-reading; 2) monitoring and self-questioning in while-reading; 3) evaluating and adjusting in post-reading.

摘要：目的探讨改良reading man皮瓣的设计方法及其修复指(趾)创面的临床效果。方法2014年7月至2017年9月,温州医科大学附属第二医院手外科收治37例手指和18例足趾背侧缺损患者,行改良reading man皮瓣修复,通过扩大主瓣和近移副瓣,主瓣旋转修复创面,副瓣易位修复主瓣供区,主、副皮瓣供区均直接缝合。结果55例皮瓣全部成活,2例足趾副瓣尖端部分坏死,换药后愈合。本组病例均获9.5~25.7个月随访,平均11.5个月,皮瓣外观、质地和色泽良好,未见皮瓣臃肿及瘢痕挛缩,足趾关节活动良好,行走步态正常;根据手指总主动活动度(TAM)评定,优28指,良7指,手部总优良率为94.6%,2例手指近侧指间关节屈曲受限。结论reading man皮瓣通过改良设计后,能充分利用指(趾)体的皮肤软组织修复创面,手术操作简便、皮瓣转移顺畅且供区直接闭合,术后皮瓣外观和指(趾)关节功能良好。
