摘要：Our primary purpose of this work is to explicitly construct the general multiparite Einstein-Podolsky- Rosen （EPR） entangled state in multi-mode Fock space for a system with different masses of particles, which makes up a new quantum mechanical representation owing to completeness relation and orthogonal property. Its entanglement can be seen more clearly by analyzing its standard Schmidt decomposition. In addition, some applications of the multipartite entanglement are proposed including deriving the generalized Wigner operator and squeezing operator.

摘要：This work presents a critical approach to Passage to India, a film directed by David Lean (1984), based on the novel written by Edward Morgan Foster in 1924, focusing attention on micro representations of Indian society under British imperial power. To structure the work, the ideas of two prominent thinkers whose critical approaches are grounded on the concept of representation and its implication in relation to perceptions of the “Other” were we selected as theoretical framework, namely Herrieta Lidchi and Stuart Hall. In this way, the work aims at highlighting the power of visual images, represented by the film, in the construction of ethnocentric images created by Imperial power(s) and their importance for the development of critical thinking in relation to residual marks of such representations in post-colonial era.

摘要：representation原是一个美学概念,近年来越来越频繁地出现在史学作品当中。一般而言,representation有两种用法:一是指根据相似性的标准,对某物进行的描绘和刻画;二是指某种符号或图案,它象征着已不在场的事物替代原事物出场。柏拉图是相似论的忠实支持者,后世哲学家则多从事于对相似论的批判,史学理论家安克斯密特即可被视为其中的一员。在替代论的基础上,安克斯密特将representation一词引入历史领域,构成“historical representation”(历史再现)。史学理论对历史再现的探讨,很大程度地揭示了历史书写中蕴含的“诗性”成分。海登·怀特和安克斯密特这两位重要的叙事主义史学理论家皆认为,正是被史家归于艺术层面的“形式”给予了历史以融贯性和条理性。“再现”观念于史学领域的接受在一定程度上改变了20世纪七八十年代之后西方历史意识的一些传统层面。

摘要：The purpose of this research is to see the image of New York and London in Charles Dickens＇s writings. In American Notes （1987）, on the surface, the city shows Dickens＇s eye of observation, revealing the dark side of the city. However, his writing expresses more than what he sees. In this paper, the author sees New York and London not only as realistic accounts of what things look like, but also a true realization of how Dickens feels about himself, and about the country in which he was situated in. In Oliver Twist （2003）, a New York prison can be linked to Dickens＇s London, representing the darkness of the city with the prison cell and its suggestiveness, including punishment, exclusion, and dehumanization. A New York Asylum reveals the dialectic of order and disorder, in a way which alienation brings out the crisis of humanity. This research shows that New York is an extension of London, in a way which the personal crisis is vividly revealed, as the reader can see in Charles Dickens. A Life （2012）. Through New York, Dickens is more conscious about his London childhood, as spatial representations of London have their own symbolic meanings

摘要：The objective of this study was to use regression modelling, a form of statistical downscaling technique, to predict the daily rainfall occurrence and rainfall amounts for a small river basin, the upper Ping River Basin (UPRB) in northern Thailand. Daily historic (1960e2005)rainfall and a number of daily reanalysis variables (NCEP/NCAR) were used to create regression models that estimate the probabilities of rainfall occurrence (wet days) and amounts (rainfall depth) at each of 29 rain gauge stations located in and around the UPRB. The regression models were calibrated using historic (1960e1989) data and validated using historic (1990e2005) data. Regression models were later applied to historic (1960e2005) GCM outputs (MPI-ESM-LR model) which were adjusted to correspond to the selected reanalysis variables using the Nested Bias Correction (NBC) technique. Rainfall occurrence and amounts were predicted for the periods 2006e2050 and 2051e2100 for RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP8.5 scenarios. Results show that the effects of climate change vary considerably across the catchment, with significantly declines in both the number of wet days and rainfall depth in the wet- and especially the dry-season in the middle of the catchment but obviously increase slightly towards the northern part of the catchment. Since the stepwise regression was used to select the atmospheric variables to form the regression models for simulating rainfall occurrence and amount, different stations have their own predictors and can influence future rainfall to vary significantly between 29 rain gauge stations. If the top three predictors were selected to form the regression models for simulating rainfall occurrence and amount for all stations, the future rainfall characteristics possibly change and can be used to compare with those of presented in this study. It will show either atmospheric predictors or climate change scenarios would have more effect on future rainfall characteristics.

摘要：Designing technologies is a process that relies on multiple interactions between design and use contexts. These interactions are essential to the development and establishment of technologies. This article seeks to understand the attempts of healthcare organisations to integrate use contexts into the design of healthcare technologies following insights of the theoretical approaches of social learning and user representations. We present a multiple case study of three healthcare technologies involved in improving elderly care practice. These cases were part of a Dutch quality improvement collaborative program, which urged that development of these technologies was not “just” development, but should occur in close collaboration with other parts of the collaborative program, which were more focused on implementation. These cases illustrate different ways to develop technologies in interaction with use contexts and users. Despite the infrastructure of the collaborative program, interactions were not without problems. We conclude by arguing that interactions between design and use are not naturally occurring phenomena, but must be actively organised in order to create effects.

摘要：In this paper, we present a novel and efficient method for the design of a sharp, two dimensional (2D) wideband, circularly symmetric, FIR filter. First of all, a sharp one dimensional (1D) infinite precision FIR filter is designed using the Frequency Response Masking (FRM) technique. This filter is converted into a multiplier-less filter by representing it in the Canonic Signed Digit (CSD) space. The design of the FRM filter in the CSD space calls for the use of a discrete optimization technique. To this end, a new optimization approach is proposed using a modified Harmony Search Algorithm (HSA). HSA is modified in such a way that, in every exploitation and exploration phase, the candidate solutions turns out to be integers. The 1D FRM multiplier-less filter, is in turn transformed to the 2D equivalent using the recently proposed multiplier-less transformations namely, T1 and T2. These transformations are successful in generating circular contours even for wideband filters. Since multipliers are the most power consuming elements in a 2D filter, the multiplier-less realization calls for reduced power consumption as well as computation time. Significant reduction in the computational complexity and computation time are the highlights of our proposed design technique. Besides, the proposed discrete optimization using modified HSA can be used to solve optimization problems in other engineering disciplines, where the search space consists of integers.
