摘要：A novel dual-emitter vacuum Compton detector （D-VCD） with higher gamma ray detecting efficiency is proposed. The emitters are made of Ta A1 clad metal. The gamma ray sensitivity is studied by Monte Carlo simulation using the MCNP code. A comparison between calculations and results measured by using the 1.25 MeV gamma ray of Co-60 is also performed. Experimental sensitivities for two sample D-VCDs with the same materials and structures are 1.92×10^-20 and 2.02×10^-20·cm^2/MeV separately, which are consistent with the simulation result of 1.98×10^-20·cm^2/MeV and are 4 times higher than that of VCD with a single Fe emitter. According to the simulation results, in a gamma energy range from 0.5 to 3 MeV, the maximum sensitivity variance for the D-VCD is less than 15%, and less than 5% in a range from 1 to 2 MeV in particular. The novel D-VCD is applicable to the detection of intense pulse gamma rays.

摘要：Cavity resonance noise of passenger car tires is generated by interacting excitation between a tire structure and the fill gas (air), and generally lies in a frequency range of 200?250 Hz. As such, this noise is strongly perceived and may be a serious source of driver annoyance. Thus, many studies regarding the cavity noise mechanism and its reduction have already been conducted. In this work, a vibro-acoustic coupled analysis was conducted between a tire structure and air cavity. Using this analysis, we can more accurately simulate the tire noise performance in the region of the cavity resonance frequency. An analysis of the effects of variation of tire contour design factors was conducted, using design-of-experiments methods. Finally, a multi-objective optimization was performed using in-house codes to reduce the cavity noise level while minimizing the loss of other performances, such as diminished ride comfort and handling caused by the variations of contour. As a result of this optimization, an optimized contour shape was derived, which satisfied the multi-objective performances.

摘要：Freeform surfaces are difficult to manufacture due to their lack of rotational symmetry. To reduce the requirements for manufacturing precision, a design method is proposed for freeform reflective-imaging systems with low surfacefigure-error sensitivity. The method considers both the surface-figure-error sensitivity and optical specifications,which can design initial systems insensitive to surface figure errors. Design starts with an initial planar system;the surface-figure-error sensitivity of the system is reduced during construction. The proposed method and another that is irrelevant to figure-error sensitivity are used to design a freeform off-axis three-mirror imaging *** of the sensitivities of the two systems indicates the superiority of our proposed method.

摘要：A sensitivity design method for a CMOS optoelectronic integrated circuit （OEIC） receiver is reported. The receiver consists of a regulated cascade （RGC） transimpedance amplifier （TIA） and a double photodiode （DPD） detector. The noise and sensitivity of the receiver are analyzed in detail. The noise mainly comes from the thermal noise of resistors and the flicker noise of MOSFETs. The relationship between noise and receiver sensitivity is presented. The sensitivity design method for the receiver is given by a set of equations. The OEIC receiver was implemented in a CSMC 0.6μm standard CMOS process. The measured eye diagram shows that the CMOS OEIC receiver is able to work at bit rates of up to 1.25GB/s and the sensitivity is - 12dBm.

摘要：In this paper, the 2-D electrostatic field software, POISSON, is used to calculate the characteristic impedance of a BPM （beam position monitor） for a high current proton linac. Furthermore, the time-domain 3-D module of MAFIA with a beam microbunch at a varying offset from the axis is used to compute the induced voltage on the electrodes as a function of time. Finally, the effect of low β beams on the induced voltage, the sensitivity and the signal dynamic range of the BPM are discussed.
