摘要：An experimental muon source(EMuS) will be built at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS). In phase I of CSNS, it has been decided that EMuS will provide a proton beam of 5 kW and 1.6 GeV to generate muon beams. A 128-channel muon spin rotation/relaxation/resonance(μSR) spectrometer is proposed as a prototype surface muon spectrometer in a sub-branch of EMuS. The prototype spectrometer includes a detection system, sample environment, and supporting mechanics. The current design has two rings located at the forward and backward directions of the muon spin with 64 detectors per ring. The simulation shows that the highest asymmetry of approximately 0.28 is achieved by utilizing two 10-mm-thick brass degraders. To obtain the optimal asymmetry, the two-ring structure is updated to a four-ring structure with 32 segments in each ring. An asymmetry of 0.42 is obtained through the simulation, which is higher than that of all the current μSR spectrometers in the world.

摘要：The light spectrometer is one of the most widely used optical instruments,allowing users to measure and analyze spectral ***,to reach a broad spectral response range,most spectrometers have to combine a silicon photodiode with an additional photodiode to account for the limited operating wavelength range of each in ***,we developed organic photodiodes(OPDs)by combining a novel narrow-bandgap non-fullerene acceptor(COTIC-4 Cl)with a polymer donor(PCE10)in the presence of PC71 BM as the third *** resulting device based on the ternary blended material showed a wide spectral response from 300 to 1200 nm,beyond the response range of the traditional silicon-based ***,at the wavelength of 1100 nm,the resulting OPD exhibited a specific detectivity of 5×10^(12) Jones and a responsivity of 0.3 A W-1,with a cut-off frequency of>1 MHz and a linear dynamic range of>120 d B,among the best performances of *** particular importance is that,as a proof-of-concept,the resulting ternary OPD was successfully utilized as the key component of a spectrometer to measure the absorption across 300–1200 *** results indicate the potential applications of the broadband response OPDs for next-generation spectrometers.

摘要：The coincidence technique and the coincidence spectroscopy have been developed and applied for over 40 years. Most of popular coincidence measurement systems were based on analog electronics techniques such as time to amplitude conversion (TAC) or logic selecting coincidence unit. The above-mentioned systems are relatively cumbersome and complicated to use. With the strong growth of digital electronics techniques and computational science, the coincidence measurement systems will be constructed simpler but more efficient with the sake of application. This article presents the design principle and signal processing of a simple two-channel coincidence system by a technique of digital signal processing (DSP) using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) devices at Nuclear Research Institute (NRI), Dalat.
