摘要：Precoding and space-time block coding （STBC）techniques using the uniform channel decomposition （UCD）are proposed to improve the bit error rate （BER） of themultiple-antenna communication system, but at a cost of areduced data rate. In order to achieve a higher overall systemperformance, a novel adaptive transceiver architecture whichflexibly combines both UCD and UCD ＋ STBC technologies isproposed. The channel state information （CSI） feedback pathwas added to the precoder to select which coding method wasto be used, i.e. UCD alone or UCD ＋ STBC. With thesmaller constellation sizes, Matlab simulation results showthat, the adaptive transceiver architecture will select the UCD-only mode under the higher SNR conditions in order to achievea higher bit rate. The UCD ＋ STBC mode will be selectedunder the lower SNR conditions （e. g., SNR 〈 10 dB） inorder to maintain good BER performance at the cost of areduced data rate. This architecture was implemented andverified using both UMC 0.18 ASIC process technology and aXilinx xc4vlx Virtex-4 FPGA at 150 MHz. The simulationresults demonstrate that the required number of reconfigurablearithmetic unit slices grows linearly with the channel matrixsize, while the number of adder array unit and reconfigurablelogic unit slices increases slightly with the constellation size.

摘要：Data clustering is a significant information retrieval technique in today＇s data intensive society. Over the last few decades a vast variety of huge number of data clustering algorithms have been designed and implemented for all most all data types. The quality of results of cluster analysis mainly depends on the clustering algorithm used in the analysis. architecture of a versatile, less user dependent, dynamic and scalable data clustering machine is presented. The machine selects for analysis, the best available data clustering algorithm on the basis of the credentials of the data and previously used domain knowledge. The domain knowledge is updated on completion of each session of data analysis.

摘要：This paper presents a hardware efficient high definition television (HDTV) encoder for H.264/AVC. We use a two-level mode decision (MD) mechanism to reduce the complexity and maintain the performance, and design a sharable architecture for normal mode fractional motion estimation (NFME), special mode fractional motion estimation (SFME), and luma motion compensation (LMC), to decrease the hardware cost. Based on these technologies, we adopt a four-stage macro-block pipeline scheme using an efficient memory management strategy for the system, which greatly reduces on-chip memory and bandwidth requirements. The proposed encoder uses about 1126k gates with an average Bjontegaard-Delta peak signal-to-noise ratio (BD-PSNR) decrease of 0.5 dB, compared with JM15.0. It can fully satisfy the real-time video encoding for 1080p@30 frames/s of H.264/AVC high profile.

摘要：The prevalence of information appliances supporting DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) such as televisions, recorders, and mobile phones has made it possible to share digital contents (e.g. videos, music and pictures) among appliances connected to a local network. However, DLNA does not let you share contents over different networks via the Internet. In this paper, we propose a network architecture where we adopt our SOAP method to mobile devices and use them as mobile gateways to consume digital contents from remote networks. We also confirm its practicality with a prototype.

摘要：The size and performance of a System LSI depend heavily on the architecture which is chosen. As a result, the architecture design phase is one of the most important steps in the System LSI development process and is critical to the commercial success of a device. In this paper, we propose a C-based variable length and vector pipeline (VVP) architecture design methodology and apply it to the design of the output probability computation circuit for a speech recognition system. VVP processing accelerated by loop optimization, memory access methods, and application-specific cir- cuit design was implemented to calculate the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) output probability at high speed and its performance is evaluated. It is shown that designers can explore a wide range of design choices and generate complex circuits in a short time by using a C-based pipeline architecture design method.

摘要：Cloud Computing has become one of the popular buzzwords in the IT area after Web2.0. This is not a new technology, but the concept that binds different existed technologies altogether including Grid Computing, Utility Computing, distributed system, virtualization and other mature technique. Business Process Management (BPM) is designed for business management using IT infrastructure to focus on process modeling, monitor and management. BPM is composed of business process, business information and IT resources, which help to build a real-time intelligent system, based on business management and IT technologies. This paper describes theory on Cloud Computing and proposes a BPM implement on Cloud environments.

摘要：Architectural design is a crucial issue in software engineering. It makes testing more effective as it contribute to carry out the testing in an early stage of the software development. To improve software testability, the software architect should consider different testability metrics while building the software architecture. The main objective of this research is to conduct an early assessment of the software architecture for the purpose of its improvement in order to make the testing process more effective. In this paper, an evaluation model to assess software architecture (architecture Design Testability Evaluation Model (ADTEM)) is presented. ADTEM is based on two different testability metrics: cohesion and coupling. ADTEM consists of two phases: software architecture evaluation phase, and component evaluation phase. In each phase, a fuzzy inference system is used to perform the evaluation process based on cohesion and coupling testing metrics. The model is validated by using a case study: Elders Monitoring System. The experimental results show that ADTEM is efficient and gave a considerable improvement to the software testability process.
