摘要：A novel 50 kW fast charger was proposed for electric vehicles. The proposed fast charger is divided into two main sections an AC-DC converter performing a PFC function and a DC-DC converter performing a charging function. A transformer including leakage inductances was used in the AC-DC converter in order to obtain isolation and inductance. A series-connection topology was used in the DC-DC converter between the DC-bus and outlet. This topology enables high power conversion efficiency up to 95% for the DC-DC converter. In order to reduce the impact of the 50 kW charging on the AC grid, the proposed fast charger system includes a buffering battery unit between the two main power conversion units. 摘要：The design of a high-frequency switching mode charger (HFSMC) was optimized using a PSPICE simulation of the charging system including a valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery pack and the HFSMC. A high-frequency battery charging circuit model was developed to describe the battery dynamics when charging with DC current having high-frequency ripples. An IGBT circuit model, a high-frequency pulsed transformer coupling model and a silicon fast recovery diode model were also developed. Simulations were compared to laboratory measurements to verify the battery and system models. Simulation of the working states of an Fe-based nanocrystalline magnetic core used in the transformer shows that the transformer design can be optimized by adjusting the core gap and by employing an RC network. Further simulations show that the components in the output unit of the charger main circuit can also be optimized. Simulations also show that the battery dynamics including the inductance should be considered for design optimization of the HFSMC.

摘要：This paper designed the loop-locked SVPWM control system of current source inverter (CSI) in the battery pack charging/discharging system. The battery pack is sensitive to the charging/discharging current ripple and orders the current posess fast transform speed. Because the battery pack has tiny inner resistance, back electromotive force and it acted as a comparative load. This made the system hard to design. The control system aimed at the specialty of the battery pack load and put forward a loop-locked control method based on dq coordinate conversion in SVPWM converters. It increases the transform efficiency by SVPWM and gets high power factor and high dynamic response quality by dq coordinate conversion.
