摘要：The special Economic Zone of Shenzhen has been endowed with plentiful of language resources. Apart from various Yue dialects in the west and Hakka dialect in the east, there are also many indigenous Chinese dialects such as the Dapeng dialect (大鹏话), the Danjia dialect (疍家话) and also the Zhanmi dialect (占米话). The last one is not ever reported. Out of curiosity, we went to investigate the dialect which is spoken in isolate patches in the easternmost townships of Pingshan (坪山), Kengzi (坑梓) and Pingdi (坪地). The Pingshan Zhanmi dialect (PZD)seems to be an intermediate between Yue and Hakka dialects. According to our observation, PZD is quite similar to the Dongguan-Baoan Yue dialects (DBYD, 莞宝片粤语) in the western part of the city and has obvious correspondence with them, such as having the onset [m] in the Middle Chinese (MC) Wei (微) characters, little literal/colloquial discrepancies in the Fei Group (非组), [a/?] contrast, literal/colloquial readings in the Geng rime group all with [?/k] as codas, etc. However, because of long term contact with the surrounding Hakka dialects, PZD has also a lot of characteristics of Hakka, such as aspirated readings in all MC voiced stops and affricates onsetsafter devoicing, lack of rounded frontal vowels, no Ying-yang contrast in the Shang tone. More influences of Hakka can be found in the vocabulary, which PZD has been borrowing for centuries.

摘要：Purpose: Reasons for the lack of success for contact lens patients range from poor fit, to discomfort or to a less than optimum wearing schedule. This project was a preliminary investigation of customized soft toric contact lenses as an alternative for unsuccessful contact lens patients or potential drop-outs. Methods: Fifteen healthy non-compromised, previously unsuccessful contact lens wearing patients (13 women, 2 men) with ages from 21 to 33 years (25.1 ± 2.7 years) were the subjects for this study. They were empirically fitted with 15 astigmatic and 5 spherical customized SpecialEyes soft contact lenses. Visual acuities, comfort, lens movement, and rotation were evaluated. Results: Patients fitted with customized SpecialEyes soft contact lenses had statistically significant better visual acuities than with Phoropter Manifest Refraction. The lenses used in this study centered well and moved no more than 1 mm upon each blink. Lens rotation was less than 10 degrees for all toric lenses. Patients gave very positive vision and comfort ratings. Conclusion: This preliminary study supports the application of a software program to empirically design and manufacture Special Eyes custom soft lenses based upon corneal topographical parameters and subjective manifest refraction for those patients who either have challenging corneal parameters, high sphero-cylindrical prescriptions, or are currently dissatisfied with their contact lenses and are potential drop-outs.

摘要：The current cam and follower mechanism in four stroke internal combustion engine employs a flat follower. In this work an attempt is made to change the flat face of follower to a curved face follower, so that the required point contact can be achieved. As line contact between existing cam and follower mechanism results in high frictional losses which results in low mechanical efficiency. It is observed that the frequency of vibration in the existing and modified cam and follower mechanism remains almost same. The finite element approach is used to perform the analysis.

摘要：Optimisation of effective design parameters to reduce tooth bending stress for an automotive transmission gearbox is presented. A systematic investigation of effective design parameters for optimum design of a five-speed gearbox is studied. For this aim contact ratio effect on tooth bending stress by the changing of contact ratio with respect to pressure angle is analysed. Additionally, profile modification effects on tooth bending stress are presented. During the optimisation, the tooth bending stress is considered as the objective function, and all the geometric design parameters such as module, teeth number etc. are optimised under two different constraints, including tooth contact stress and constant gear centre distance. It can be concluded that higher the contact ratio results in a reduced tooth bending stress, while higher the pressure angle caused an increase in tooth bending stress and contact stress, since decreases in the contact ratio. In addition, application of positive profile modification on tooth reduces tooth bending stress. All of the obtained optimum solutions satisfy all constraints.

摘要：Split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) has become a frequently used technique to measure the uniaxial compressive stress-strain relation of various engineering materials at high strain-rates. The accuracy of an SHPB test is based on the assumption of uniaxial and uniform stress distribution within the specimen, which, however, is not always satisfied in an actual SHPB test due to the existence of some unavoidable negative factors, e.g., interface friction constrains. Kinetic interface friction tests based on a simple device for engineering materials testing on SHPB tests are performed. A kinetic interface friction model is proposed and validated by implementing it into a numerical model. It shows that the proposed simple device is sufficient to obtain kinetic interface friction results for common SHPB tests. The kinetic friction model should be used instead of the frequently used constant friction model for more accurate numerical simulation of SHPB tests.

摘要：In this paper, we have investigated the design parameters of RF CMOS cells which will be used for switch in the wireless telecommunication systems. This RF switch is capable to select the data streams from the two antennas for both the transmitting and receiving processes. The results for the development of a cell-library which includes the basics of the circuit elements required for the radio frequency sub-systems of the integrated circuits such as V-I characteristics at low-voltages, contact resistance which is present in the switches and the potential barrier with contacts available in devices has been discussed.
