摘要：The article is devoted to the psychoanalytic issues of the deconstruction of images of socialist ideals in Russian Sots Art--an ironic title of the artistic trend in which used a mixture signs of visual semiotics of ＂social realism＂ and ＂pop art＂ of the 1990-2000s. By comparing the idealization of the image of Lenin in Soviet art of the 1930-1950s with its grotesque interpretation in Sots Art works of the 1990s, it appears to be interesting to trace the functions of grotesque and caricature in the deconstruction of the canons of socialist realism. Thereupon, special interest is the role of the regression mechanism in the transformation of the ideals of socialist realism into laughable images.

摘要：Wallace Stevens is one of five greatest poets in America in 20th century. The relation between imagination and reality is a major theme of his poems. He holds the view that the mission of poets is to build a bridge linking the world of imagination and of reality with the result of deconstructing the logic of binary opposition since the time of Plato. Thirteen Ways of Looking at A Blackbird is a representative poem that expresses Wallace’s thoughts of deconstruction. This article is to probe into how the poet establishes the reality dominated by imagination and then how he deconstructs the binary opposition between imagination and reality since the time of Plato.

摘要：Living and creating in the tumultuous decades from the 1960s through 1980s, Thomas Pynchon unfalteringly chooses the countercultural and civil rights movements in the United States of that age as the permanent topic of his fiction. It can be seen from Pynchon＇s dramatic, sometimes fantastic narratives about these movements that the failure of the countercultural movements lies in their illusive nature in contrast with the hypocrisy and disproportionate power of the government to destruct these movements, and that the presence of American racial problems results to a great degree from the sloth prevailing over various institutions in American society when dealing with racial inequality and from American white racists＇ desire to eliminate an imagined threat in the face of the minorities. This paper tries to provide a different understanding that Pynchon＇s writing of the marginalized or surrealistic issues in these countercultural and civil rights movements is his strategy to expose the falsehood of American myth of democracy.

摘要：This paper focuses on Stephen King＇s （1947-） long-form narratives and attempts at perceiving the elements accounting for his endless success. As the author chooses this title for her paper, she clearly keep in mind John Barth＇s （1930-） essay. The choice of ＂punning＂ Barth＇s title is made so as to situate ourselves in the wake of postmodernist studies to try and analyze King＇s deconstruction and reconstruction of common ideas, myths, and the Gothic genre, applying them to the contemporary era. The choice of this angle of study is accounted by the fact that the aim is to prove that King has not literarily exhausted himself in spite of his 37 years of writing and is in a constant quest for a renewal of the Gothic genre. The notion of remolding is one of the red threads allowing to weave the intricate cloth of postmodernism. The author will here humbly try to unveil the essential elements perceived in King＇s narratives which allow to qualify him as ＂a postmodern writer＂.

摘要：This paper discusses the present-day philosophical rupture away from identitarian thinking, and how the former has influenced the world of the feminist literary criticism of today. Herein, we embark on a journey from its awakenings back in the 1960s. We begin our quest with Kate Millett, we will continue our discussion with Irigaray, Cixous, or Kristeva and their analysis of the difference created by gender. And, we will reflect on the influence it has made to the American movement. We use the aforementioned as the lead towards the theory of deconstruction in authors such as Felman or Spivak, and how we reach the concept of performativity of gender in line with Butler and the queer theory.

摘要：A Passage to India is a representative novel by E. M. Forster. His insightful exploration of the relationship between Britain and the colony India in early 20th century guarantees it a seat among the classics of the world’s colonist literature. E. M. Forster’s ideas in A Passage to India exhibit many affinities with Edward Said’s thoughts in his Orientalism. This paper, therefore, aims to offer an interpretation of A Passage to India by using Said’s philosophy of the Orientalism as the theoretical framework. Due to Forster’s dual consciousness revealed in the novel, this paper will focus on two aspects, namely, the reflection of his colonialist ideology and his anti-colonial humanistic sense.

摘要：With the announcement of the sheep clone Dolly as the breakthrough in the biotechnology in news media around the turn of the twenty-first century, the rising issue of human clones in its development and the controversially bioethical issues ensued, Kazuo Ishiguro in Never Let Me Go （2005） focuses his attention, in the area of cell therapy, on how human clones, since produced, lead their model lives and face their deaths, in order that his readers may better understand the meanings of life and death, and that they may stay in a far closer relationship with their family and friends than ever. In this essay, I examine, in two worlds, the normals＇ and the clones＇, paralleling each other, the true meanings of being human and their lives through the perspective of Jacques Derrida＇s deconstruction; and I argue that Ishiguro misspeaks to his readers the true meanings of life and death especially through the clones＇ perspective and brings them to his readers＇ hearts further realistically. In Derrida＇s nature-culture structurality of the clones, it is Kathy H. who comes as center into which the other clones come as freeplay in the structurality of the real world, where it is normals who come as center into which clones come as freeplay under the structurality of power in the institutions where the clones＇ culture comes as center into which Miss Emily＇s ruling comes as freeplay by the structurality of authorship where the author comes as center into which the novel comes as freeplay.
