摘要：engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) is a cement based material with ultra-high ductility and strength in tension. This material is a kind of highperformance fiber-reinforced cementitious composite materials (HPFRCCs) reinforced with short fibers and characterized by tight multiple cracking. These characteristics of ECC make it applicable to increase the capacity and the ductility of structural elements so that structural design is economic and sustainable. This paper presents an extended evaluation of Improved engineered Cementitious Composites (IECC) for the use in the strengthening of masonry in filled reinforced concrete frames. IECC is a mixture of cement, fly ash, water, sand, quartz powder and poly-vinyl alcohol fibers with a better quality of tensile strain rather than common ECC. Two types of fine sand and quartz powder used in this study as filler to improve ECC behavior. Also, to show the effect of fly ash on IECC properties, five different mixtures were considered with various fly ash ratios. Different mixtures of IECC using fine aggregates produced in Iran were selected to find out how the aggregates and fly ash would affect IECC performance. The results show that the optimized mixture has the best characteristics including tensile strength and strain. Also, three-dimensional diagrams were used to compare the properties of different mixtures of IECC more effectively and to represent the influence of the range of fly ash ratios so that it can be opted based on design objectives such as ECC properties, costs and structural parameters and demands. These diagrams show the behavior of IECC which its fly ash content ratio in the binder is 50% to 67%.

摘要：engineered Biofluids are paving the way to industrialized and specifically produced and tailored functional fluids such as coolant and dielectric, high purity traceable media, for the electrical and electronic industries. Dielectric fluid compositions are commonly used in electrical devices, particularly in transformers. These liquids have the aim to isolate the various conductive elements of the device and to limit the heating of the equipment during its operation;in order to minimize, or maintain at higher power, the size of the device and to increase the lifespan of it. Concomitantly a number of bio and traditional processing advancements are made associated with pioneering process technologies which are outlined within the prime context of this paper. Enzyme Engineering and Cocktailing add “A New Dimension to Softer Greener Chem-Bio Approaches” which are referenced beyond curiosity purpose. Some of them are possibly “revolutionary” more than evolutionary. Testing has to evolve accordingly to appreciate the challenges ahead in semi-extreme conditions which are relevant to climate changes as well. A significant part of this orientation work addresses and exemplifies these necessary testing innovations, likely adaptable to smart and responsive connecting, and further down the line bigger data role and learning machine evolutionary concepts. 摘要：Fibroblast is a crucial kind of cell in the construction of the tissue engineered dermal equivalent. In order to optimize the cryopreservation protocols of the tissue-engineered dermis, the characteristics of dermal fibroblast in subzero temperatures are required, which include the water permeability of the cell membrane and the apparent activation energy. Using the differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), the volumetric shrinkage during freezing of human dermal fibroblast suspensions was obtained at the cooling rate of 5°C·min?1 in the presence of extracellular ice. To ensure the presence of extracellular ice, a small quantity of ice nucleation bacteria (INA bacteria), pseudomonas syringae was added in the samples. And based on the Karlsson’s model, a nonlinear-least-squares curve fitting technique was implemented to calculate the cryogenic parameters. At the reference temperature T R(=0°C), the water permeability of membrane L pg=0.578 μm·min?1·atm?1 and the apparent activation energy, E LP=308.8 kJ·mol?1. These parameters were then used to simulate water transport of fibroblast during constant cooling at rates between 0.01–50°C · min?1. The simulation results were analyzed to predict the amount of water left in the cell after dehydration and the “optimal cooling rate” for fibroblast cryopreservation. For the dermal fibroblast with DMEM solution, a cooling rate of 4.6°C · min?1 was optimal.

摘要：Taxol is a 'blockbuster' antitumor drug produced by Taxus species with extremely low amount, while its analogue 7-β-xylosyl-10-deacetyltaxol is generally much higher in the plants. Both the fungal enzymes LXYL-P1à1 and LXYL-P1à2 can convert 7-β-xylosyl-10-deacetyltaxol into10-deacetyltaxol for Taxol semi-synthesis. Of them, LXYL-P1à2 is twice more active than LXYLP1à1, but there are only 11 significantly different amino acids in terms of the polarity and acidic-basic properties between them. In this study, single and multiple site-directed mutations at the 11 sites from LXYL-P1à1 to LXYL-P1à2 were performed to define the amino acids with upward bias in activities and to acquire variants with improved catalytic properties. Among all the 17 mutants, E12(A72 T/V91 S) was the most active and even displayed 2.8-and 3-fold higher than LXYL-P1à2 on β-xylosidase andβ-glucosidase activities. The possible mechanism for such improvement was proposed by homology modeling and molecular docking between E12 and 7-β-xylosyl-10-deacetyltaxol. The recombinant yeast GS115-P1 E12-7 was constructed by introducing variant E12, the molecular chaperone gene pdi and the bacterial hemoglobin gene vhb. This engineered yeast rendered 4 times higher biomass enzyme activity than GS115-3.5 K-P1à2 that had been used for demo-scale fermentation. Thus, GS115-P1 E12-7 becomes a promising candidate to replace GS115-3.5 K-P1à2 for industrial purpose.
