摘要：Thomas Middleton and William Rowley’s The Changeling enacts an astonishment on the stage to the audience about the protagonist Beatrice-Joanna’s down fall-the noble lady being straightly encroached by her desire and being manipulated by the obscene servant De Flores, who, by means of rape, controls her body and finally destroys her. My article attempts to explore male’s expectations and their power over female’s sexuality with Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalytical approach. Moreover, it will elaborate that Beatrice-Joanna’s tragic outcome is not only contributed by her murder and moral degradations, but also, before her transgression being committed, her body has already been regulated by the patriarchal power in the Renaissance society-either she is valuable in the marriage market with her chastity or she is condemned by losing it. Also, the science of medicine employed to test virginity represents the male’s methodological hegemony and anxiety in facing the unknown of a female’s chastity. For the fantasy always regulating the male’s power structure over female’s body, the real manipulation over female sexuality is doomed to be an illusion.

摘要：Ancient Greece having survived uninterruptedly through centuries, consists an incontestably cultural capital of overriding importance for the global community and especially for Greece itself. Mythical elements usually become frameworks or structures, in which Greek literary tradition encodes Greek national virtues and promotes nationalistic goals. On the other hand, myth＇s adaptations to different chrono-topes generate diversified cultural reception, adjusted to the era and the audience＇s expectations. The mythical figures are constantly invested in different conceptual schemata, which correspond to the altered way of thinking. Myth is also usually embedded in or underlies fantasy genre, which becomes a vehicle for utterances on women＇s rights. In this paper, we are going to examine closely three ＂fantasy＂ novels for children with mythical intertextual elements： The Fortunate lsles （1989）, Torch （1987）, and Sirena （1998）, whose plot takes place in Greece and we will try to explore： （1） how is Greekness being perceived and presented; and （2） how is female identity being introjected or depicted, in order to find out if the subversive potential of the fantasy genre reworks and rationalizes femininity and Greekness, which have for so long been exploited by the patriarchal or nationalistic status quo.

摘要：In an age when criminal psychology was still new, Edgar Allan Poe revolutionized the world with his tales of insightful penetration into the criminal mind. ＂The Tell-Tale Heart＂ （2007） is one such tale. Behind the mask of the narrator lies the dangerous, diabolical, and premeditated crime of the sadist. Most critics neglected to highlight the sadistic complex which manifests itself with outstanding clarity in the character Poe presents. Instead, they chose to focus on other aspects of his character, namely, his disturbed mental state. Yet, to dismiss a perversion such as sadism is to lose sight of Poe＇s legitimate merits as a criminal psychologist. This study highlights this point Through an interdisciplinary approach between criminology and literature, the study examines Poe＇s work from the criminological tradition represented by such figures as Richard von Krafft-Ebing, Paul De River, Carol Anne Davis, Karl Berg, Peter Vronsky, Julie Harrower, Curt R. Bartol, and others. The study is based upon criminological insights derived from and supported by actual case histories, and thus, is extremely important in bridging the gap between literature and criminology

摘要：Following the theory of Trauma as a critical approach, it is analyzed how Paul Auster＇ s Timbuktu shows up the maladies of the contemporary world with a parody of disease full of excess and somehow mocking at its own elements. It is a distorted version of infirmity, the way it used to appear in former works of literature. The device is a winkle to the reader to envisage whatever novel or story from a carefully distanced view, very much in the way that Postmodernist authors do but with the realistic use of the form that he regularly employs.

摘要：现实与幻想如何结合是童话研究中的核心议题之一,它在二十世纪八九十年代得到了最为充分和深入的探究。学界对两者关系的认知大致经历了幻想从属于现实、探究幻想独立的空间美学形态以及将幻想看作作品精神内核三个阶段。幻想的地位经历了从艺术形式到独立空间再到精神内涵的转变。这一转变既是“儿童本位”观念不断深入认识的结果,也是学界对fantasy这一文体概念引进和阐释的结果。同时,由于中国学界对fantasy观照现实功能的忽略,造成了对这一文体的片面认识,也影响了高质量原创幻想类作品的产生。
