摘要：A very compact (80 - 100 μm2) integrated power splitting devices with two outputs (1 × 2), four outputs (1 × 4) and six outputs (1 × 6) channel has been designed, simulated and optimized for Telecommunication purpose with T-Junction, Y-Junction, PC line defect waveguides integrated with multimode interference block (PCLD-MMI) and multiple line defect PC waveguides (MLDPCW) configurations. The optical modeling of these proposed structures was investigated by finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation. With the optimization of the parameters (Hole Radius, R = 0.128 μm, Input Diameter, D = 1.02 μm, Input wavelength, λ = 1.55 μm, Substrate Reflective Index, nsub = Si(1.52), Photonic Crystal Material, npcs = InAs(3.45), and Rectangular crystal structure), 1 × 2 for Y-Junction (100%), 1 × 4 for T-Junction (92.8%) and 1 × 6 configuration for MLDPCW (81%) show maximum power transmission.

摘要：This paper deals with the design of high power – low dimensions axial-flux permanent-magnet motor intended for trac-tion application. First, two motor configurations are analytically designed and compared using finite element calcula-tion. Then, the configuration yielding the best performances is integrated and modelled with the whole traction chain under MATLAB/SIMULINK environment in order to demonstrate the motor operation on a large speed band.

摘要：A novel optimization methodology for the disc cutter designs of tunnel boring machines (TBM) was presented. To fully understand the characteristics and performance of TBM cutters, a comprehensive list of performance parameters were investigated, including maximum equivalent stress and strain, specific energy and wear life which were closely related to the cutting forces and profile geometry of the cutter rings. A systematic method was employed to evaluate an overall performance index by incorporating objectives at all possible geological conditions. The Multi-objective & Multi-geologic Conditions Optimization (MMCO) program was then developed, which combined the updating of finite element model, system evaluation, finite element solving, post-processing and optimization algorithm. Finally, the MMCO was used to optimize the TBM cutters used in a TBM tunnel project in China. The results show that the optimization significantly improves the working performances of the cutters under all geological conditions considered.

摘要：On the basis of Hamilton-Ostrogradskiy variation principle a system of equations of linear pipeline vibrations interacting with surrounding soil is derived with appropriate boundary and initial conditions under arbitrary direction of seismic effect. Dynamic problem of underground pipeline is solved by finite difference method of the second order of accuracy with different combinations of boundary conditions under the effect of seismic load on a given law with arbitrary direction. Numerical implementation of the problem is realized.

摘要：This study involves the applications of different numerical techniques in a more general way to the design of a simulator for an enhanced oil recovery process with surfactant assisted water flooding. The data from a hypothetical oil well and a Nigerian oil well were used for the validation of the simulator. The process is represented by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations: the continuity equation for the transport of the components and Darcy’s equation for the phase flow. The orthogonal collocation, finite difference and coherence theory techniques were used in solving the equations that characterized the multidimensional, multiphase and multicomponent flow problem. Matlab computer programs were used for the numerical solution of the model equ- ations. The predicted simulator, obtained from the resulting numerical exercise confers uncondi- tional stability and more insight into the physical reservoir description. The results of the ortho- gonal collocation solution were compared with those of finite difference and coherence solutions. The results indicate that the concentration of surfactants for orthogonal collocation show more features than the predictions of the coherence solution and the finite difference, offering more opportunities for further understanding of the physical nature of the complex problem. We have found out that the partition of the three components between the two-phases determines other physical property data and hence the oil recovery. The oil recovery for the Nigerian oil reservoir is higher than the recovery predicted for the hypothetical crude. The displacement mechanism for the multicomponent and multiphase system is stable in the Nigerian oil reservoir due to the mod- erate value of the oil/water viscosity instead of the hypothetical reservoir with high value of oil/water ratio.

摘要：Worldwide, ESSILOR International provides customers with Progressive Addition Lenses (PAL), which replace bifocal lenses. Thermal replication is one process to produce glass moulds for PAL, using sagged glass on a ceramic slumping block. In this paper, thermal replication for producing PAL glass moulds is developed through 3D modelling and experimentation. Our numerical approach is validated by comparing it with experimentation on the global 3D topology of the sagged glass. It is also validated by using more severe optical comparison criteria, developed by ESSILOR International to analyze the conformity of their products. Through modelling, the thermal replication is analyzed by studying the evolving contact between the sagged glass and the ceramic slumping block during the thermal cycle and the glass flow on the upper side of the sagged glass.

摘要：To effectively harvest vibration energy from pavement without affecting driving comfort and safety, parameter optimization was done with the orthogonal experiment design and the finite element analysis. L16(44) Taguchi’s orthogonal experiments were carried out with planted depth, PZT material, PZT diameter and thickness as optimization parameters and with open voltage and pavement displacement as optimization objectives. The experiment results were obtained via the finite element method. By using range analysis method, the dominance degree of the influencing factors and the optimum condition was obtained for the two objectives, respectively. Further, the multi-objective optimization was performed based on a weight grade method. The combined optimum conditions in order of their dominance degree are PZT diameter 35 mm, PZT thickness 6 mm, planted depth 50 mm and material PZT4. The validity of optimization scheme was confirmed.

摘要：An engineering geological survey using the cone penetrometer and finite element method was carried out to characterize sand-fill thick- nesses in a reclaimed area of Lagos, SW Nigeria. A previously developed finite element program was modified in order to allow for predicting the sand-fill thicknesses, and have an unders- tanding of the geomorphic shallow structures existing pre-sand-fill. The program was tested using the obtained cone penetrometer test re-sults from the Lekki-Peninsula area. The finite element predicted thicknesses show good cor-relation with the penetrometer obtained thicknesses. Six zones with thick sand-fill thick-nesses varying from 1.25 to 6.0m were identified from the isopach maps, these zones correlate with major/minor depression associated with river/stream channels and creeks. These are the main shallow geomorphic structural features present in the area pre-sand fill. The structural trends of the depressions are largely influenced by the oceanic fracture pattern.

摘要：介绍了偏曲轴少齿差行星减速器的结构组成。将箱体模型导入到ANSYS软件中进行了有限元模态分析,得到固有频率及振型。振型分析的结果表明,箱底座的结构设计较合理,在轴承孔处增加的肋板使箱体在轴承座孔的局部区域的振幅减小。箱盖在轴承孔处局部区域振幅较大,结构设计有缺陷。在箱盖每个轴承座上方加上肋板,达到降低三环减速器整机的振动和噪音的目的。该研究对减速器模态分析设计以及为后续振动问题研究提供了理论参考。
