摘要：mental image has often been believed to play a very large, even pivotal, role in both memory and motivation. However, with the lateralization of the brain, the treasure of mental image, a function dominated by the right hemisphere of the brain, is often neglected in the realm of language learning, a function dominated by the left-brain. Thus, educational systems have largely, if not exclusively, catered to the logic, analytical left-brain, and unwisely phase out the imagery elements of the right brain. In this paper, therefore, the author argues that mental image should not be a property confined to children, who have more imagination. This kind of human treasure should be appropriately deployed through the process of language teaching and learning, for it can provide a strong impetus for language learning, thus making language-learning process more enjoyable and beneficial.

摘要：This paper presents an analysis on how objectivity is discursively constructed in journalistic narratives by drawing on the theories of viewpoint and mental space in Cognitive Linguistics. It is posited that at least three mental spaces are projected by a narrative discourse, i.e., a narrated event space, a narrating space, and a basic space, and the distance between the first two spaces determines the degree of objectivity in the narrative discourse. A schema which represents the configuration of the different spaces is proposed and applied in the analysis of journalistic narratives to explore the strategies of objectivity construction. The analysis reveals that what the different journalistic narratives have in common in the construction of objectivity is to distance the narrated event space and the narrating space with the former being foregrounded in the viewpoint arrangement.

摘要：上世纪60年代,精神疾病的诊断没有一个公认的标准,诊断的不一致性在精神科医生之间是一个司空见惯的现象.1980年出版的美国《精神障碍诊断与统计手册（第3版）》（Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental Disorders Third Version,DSM-Ⅲ）对每类疾病都有确切的概念、定义,对每一个有诊断价值的症状、症候群都予以明确定义,对病史采集、精神检查均有统一方法,具有诊断标准、排除标准.为进一步提高精神疾病诊断的准确性,研究者们针对DSM诊断系统设计了结构式访谈工具-DSM临床定式访谈（The Structured Clinical Interview for DSM,SCID）.SCID使用之后,诊断的准确性和一致性明显提高[1].SCID是目前国内外最常用的精神障碍诊断和调查工具之一.

摘要：背景：关于未获得治疗的精神障碍的范围及严重性知之甚少(尤其是在不发达国家)。目的：在世界卫生组织(WHO)世界精神卫生(Worlld mental Health，WMH)14国(6个不发达国家，8个发达国家)启动调查中，应用《精神障碍诊断和统计手册》第4版(DSM-Ⅳ)规定的标准，评估精神障碍的患病率、严重性和治疗情况。设计、地点及参试者：按户对60463例社区成年人进行面对面调查。调查于2001—2003年在美洲、欧洲、中东、非洲和亚洲14个国家中进行。主要观察指标：采用WHO复合国际诊断检查WMH版本(WMH—CIDI)评估DSM-Ⅳ障碍及其严重性和治疗情况，这是一种详细的结构式非专业人员管理使用的(layadministered)精神病诊断检查。结果：调查期间WMH—CIDI／DSM-Ⅳ障碍的患病率差异很大(从上海的4．3％到美国的26．4％)，其四分位数问距(interquartile range，IQR)为9．1％～16．9％。在12个月时，33．1％(哥伦比亚)至80．9％(尼日利亚)的病例是轻度的(IQR，40．2％～53．3％)。严重障碍与重要功能残疾相关。虽然几乎在所有国家障碍的严重性均与治疗的概率相关，但是在调查前12个月内，发达国家有35．5％～50．3％的严重病例未接受治疗，不发达国家有76．3％～85．4％的严重病例未接受治疗。由于轻度病例和未达到诊断标准病例(即阈值下病例)的发生率很高，因此，在各个国家此类病例接受治疗的例数均远远超过未接受治疗的严重病例。结论：治疗资源的再分配能明显减少严重精神障碍病例治疗不足的问题。这种再分配尚存在组织结构障碍。对于某些轻度病例(尤其是对那些有进展为较重病例危险的患者)需仔细考虑其治疗价值。
