摘要：The Pre-Raphaelite painter Edward Burne-Jones(1833-1898)conceived the subject of The Mirror of Venus between 1865 and *** painted two versions:a small version in gouache and oil and a larger version in oil on *** composing this subject Burne-Jones was inspired by the poetic and chromatic description of a lyrical stanza on“The Hill of Venus”in the long epic poem Earthly Paradise,written by his close friend and collaborator William Morris.1 This study comprises three parts:Burne-Jones’s history of the paintings,his iconographical sources,and an iconological interpretation of The Mirror of Venus.

摘要：Readingto comprehend the source text is a necessary part in translation ***,the cognitive processing in various reading tasks related to translation is far from *** present study investigated interpreters’eye movement behavior in E-C language pair across different reading *** participants are instructed to perform four tasks involving reading for specific *** four tasks are as follows:(1)reading for comprehension(monolingual);(2)reading for summary;(3)reading in preparation for translating;and(4)reading while speaking a translation(sight translating).The results showed that reading purposes have a clear effect on interpreters’eye movement *** tasks both groups of interpreters spent more task time,more and longer fixations as they dealt with increasingly cognitive-demanding *** groups student interpreters spend more time,more and longer fixations than do professionals in most of the *** study revealed that the increasing cognitive efforts required by reading is dependent on various reading tasks and translation expertise,which provided tentative implications for understanding and modelling the way interpreters *** study also provided evidence for the validity of eye-tracking as a methodology in different translation modalities.
